  • Hey guys! Here's a brief on Turkish citizenship by investment program, by route of real estate investment, and a comparison with similar CIB programs across the globe. Why are we discussing Turkey?! Well, firstly because it's my area of specialty. Secondly, almost all citizenship by investment programs require you to buy real estate that has been pre-approved by the government, except for Turkey. Here is where the questions arise, don't they? Take a look for more detail.

    00:50 Visa-free Travel

    Turkish citizenship does provide one important advantage over US citizenship: NO CITIZENSHIP-BASED TAXATION.

    Great video but one thing I would expect you to highlight is the cons of the Turkish citizenship which I believe is important to know e.g. the taxes expected because some say it's as high as the US if you live in turkey with around 40% on the GLOBAL income! I'm yet to see you highlighting this info, thanks again!

    Hello Aladdin, thanks for your videos. As usual they are very informative and I enjoy very much watching them! Have you considered Bulgaria as an option for acquiring citizenship by investment? It not only gives you an excellent entry point for the whole EU and Schengen zone, it’s the hidden tax haven for Europe with the lowest tax rates across Europe, but it also provides an updated fast-track option for citizenship which is one of the best in Europe, after Turkey of course. I think that it’s definitely worth considering it!

    However, on the negative side 5 years ago $1 was equal to 2.93 Turkish Lira and today $1 equals 8.29 Turkish Lira. That is a devaluation of Turkish Lira by nearly 3 times or 300%. So unless if someone bought Turkish Real Estate 5 years ago and the property appreciated 3 times the purchasing price, they would end up with a loss.

    Numbers prove this is an amazing citizenship by investment deal, perhaps the best in the world today. It’s not only the Passport. Turkish real estate by itself is amazing and offers real VALUE FOR MONEY because of the exchange rate, unlike EU countries. Türkiye is a big country with a large, diversified, growing GDP with great export potential, unlike other buy-passport options such as Bulgaria, Greece that are small, stagnant economies with limited potential. All in all it’s probably the best such deal in the world now. Hope the threshold amount doesn’t go up too much.

    Please answer with 250,000. Should I buy one house? Or can I buy two houses, for example? Or a house and a small shop?? Or only one house is required to get a golden visa

    • @AladdinsTurkey
      @AladdinsTurkey  ปีที่แล้ว

      The golden visa means real estate residence. You can buy a property at a price between 50,000 USD to 75,000 USD to obtain it according to the conditions announced by the Turkish government. You can read more via one of the links

    Aladdin; my dad, mom, and I are wanting to move from America to Istanbul within the next year. My dad and I want to start a company out there, so I was wondering since you are involved with real estate that you could possibly find us a house/villa to where we can receive citizenship. Maybe even some office space as well. I would really appreciate the help.

  • @otemporaomores9472
    @otemporaomores9472 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Obtaining a Schengen or US visa is not guaranteed, and most Turkish people cannot get it at all. If you can get it, it means you could get it with a Pakistani passport as well. It's not about your passport, it's about you. As for the UK, the UK is not part to the Ankara Agreement any longer, so forget about it.

    Wow, I never thought that there are strong and weak passports! It never crossed my mind... probably because I am German and therefore - that is what I learned from your video just now - I can call myself very lucky to have such a privileged passport. I should appreciate that more. Even though it is nothing to be proud of, because I did not choose being born here 🤷‍♀️

    • @rossbrooks5816
      @rossbrooks5816 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm sure there were some in Germany at a time who wished to have a passport or another way easy way to get out. But there are some, even now, in rich countries, escaping (to pay less taxes, perhaps). Not the everyday Joe or Oscar will think about this though.

    Why do you people use .(dot) where it should be , (comma). I lived in Turkey for 4 months this is what I noticed. It is very confusing. Like 250.000 and u meant is 250,000. In reailty we ignore the values after . (dot ) as it means full stop. Nothing more...

    Turkish citizenship is only useful for people from countries such as Pakistan 🇵🇰, Bangladesh 🇧🇩, Yemen 🇾🇪, Somalia 🇸🇴, Iraq 🇮🇶, Iran 🇮🇷, and so on. However, if someone is from the West (such as Canada 🇨🇦 or Switzerland 🇨🇭), they should invest $250,000 USD in their own countries.

      Not true. I live in Australia and considering getting my second citizenship. Aussies are not that nice, there are many idiots here.
      Good ones are exceptionally good, maybe 2% of the population, but the horrible ones are many, like 20-30%.
      The rest of them are predisposed to being bad. What I mean by bad is they perceive (and treat) the natives as though they're sub-humans. If you live there long enough you will be able to know that's true. This negative perception is also towards non-white Aussies who were born there (or migrated there).

    2:28 unless ones Irish no-one except UK citizens has currently any automatic right to work and live in UK nor theres currently any agreement that en mass grants citizens of any country any significant advantage during the process of obtaining such right.
    And thats true for Turks just like for EU citizens.
    PS Ankara Agreement is between EU and Turkey and UK is not longer EU member.
