Such a fun shoot. When we are all together again, we should remember to shoot it... You, me, Henry, and Bill as well as anybody who wants to try, should make for a well sponsored event!
You prolly dont care but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
@Nasir Roman thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Your standard 1861 Springfield or Pattern 1853 Enfield, with a Minie (burton) bullet and 65 grains 2F powder, should be more than enough for any deer at 100 yards. Check your local laws, some areas don't allow lead bullets, others require minimum energy for harvesting deer, etc.
@@papercartridges6705 I'm either gonna buy me an P53 or a whitworth. I will make up my mine erectly. I just think the latter is just awesome, but the P53 is really all I need. I successfully make and shoot paper cartridges for my 1858 revolvers. But I have to poke the bottoms prior to loading because I do not use nitrated paper. Do you nitrate your revolver cartridge paper?
Some of us have low serial number PH Enfields, and others have custom barrels made by Whitacre. I have originals also but I shoot them sparingly, and never in this sort of brutal heat and with rough rapid fire.
That final generation of muzzleloaders is amazing for how dialed in and perfected the technology is.

Absolutely, I know we can all do better also, the .568 bullet needs some more working up... will be good to get together again.
@@papercartridges6705 Won't it though!
Looks like a great time! I had to pause the video to buy your new book😎
What a great project--congratulations all. Oh, and that guy in the middle with the subtropical uniform? Very stylish!
Fuckin hell good work making this video during this heat wave, *especially* in uniform and in the desert
this video was taken at the end of June. it was still hot! Almost 100 at the time , but it’s been around 115 there this week!
@@papercartridges6705 Oh boy, no thanks. Did the lubricant manage to hold up in such heat or was it starting to melt a bit?
Thank you for the mention :) As I write this I am about to head to the range to shoot this match again!

@Nasir Roman It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my ass!
@Lyric Rodney you are welcome =)
Is there a rifles musket and load that you recommend for deer hunting up to 100 yards and less?

It would have the same energy and effect as a Minie.
are you using Parker Hale P53's or any using originals?

@@papercartridges6705 fantastic stuff.
I wonder if a 2 band would have shot 10% better 🤔
A Queen's enemy... Or a Yankee.
