I can't even think of a purpose for this egg. Yet I really want one and would probably pay good money for it. Just so I could spend my time staring at the thing. This is a very beautiful work, you should be proud.

Let's see if I got this straight. The recipe goes like this. Take one piece of gnarly wood, add colored epoxy that would make a sunset jealous. Put in pressure cooker. When solid turn on lath to bring egg in being. And when finished take pride in something that would put Dumbledore 's magic to shame.

I really wish I were able to have a nice work space like Andy does... It would be awesome to be able to have a space like that in my home so I could learn how do all these super awesome things that he does. Although I'm pretty sure he's invested a lot of money into what he does and I'm more than sure that this equipment isn't cheap at all. There may be some stuff that isn't very expensive but the big stuff sure must cost a pretty penny. Specially that lathe, I've looked into them and the prices vary depending on what size you'd want to get of course. But I've also seen some videos that teach you how to make a small one using some wood and a drill. Soo I think that's what I'm going to start with for the time being, that way I can start with small projects and get some experience inn then be able to move on to a bigger one hopefully not only when I have some experience but when this whole virus situation calms down and the economy gets a bit better. Because times are deff pretty tough right now, so it will be a lot easier on my pockets to get ahold of some leftover wood and make a holder for my drill so that I can use it as a small lathe for the time being... We'll see how it all works out though...
