    Takes a bit of work converting a road bike to track bike in order to do it properly and you do it proper Dave! I’m guessing the abs ring plates can be removed from the rims since there won’t be abs as well? Looking great so far, can’t wait to see the bodywork too

      ABS rings also do speed & traction control.

    Hey Dave - any chance you took the weight of the rearsets original vs racing? Or even better - the bike before and after?

      @obsession_engineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We did a final weight check... but not a before strip. That's in one of the next episodes ;)

      @@obsession_engineering bit of an oversight then.. the other.. race shift.. is the shifter shaft out of the box, able to be rotated around to do the same effect 🤔🤒 push rather than pull

    Hi Dave - Re: Race Shift. Can’t you change the settings in the ECU to do this ? Think I’ve seen something on another TH-cam video

      Yes, apparently so. I just didn't know at the time and luckily Eric rides in road shift anyway

      @@obsession_engineering if you get a chance.. a R7 vs RS track comparo would be fantastic.. shame yamaha's R7 is a limited run.. they need a good frame.. the mtm660 just sucks.. cheers from NZ

    You Just have to put the gear in reverse (pivot up not down) and buy a reverse mod for you computer from aprilia 👍 verry easy and it works 😄

    • @MrKdr500
      @MrKdr500 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Computer doesn't require a reverse mod, and can't place selector arm upward as it hits the frame.

      @@MrKdr500 I can send you a picture. i have aprilia rear sets, reversed gears and had to buy mod for reverse QS with Pitlane limiter. When i go with the selektor i std position, I have to go to the computer and select normal QS not reverse. Do you have FB - I can send via messenger 👍

    Is it possible to leave the abs pump connected with no fluid in it to prevent an error code?

    If the bike was actually priced just a smudge over a mt07 or ninja 650 then I would think it was worth while. At this price is just horrendously over priced at about 1200 Euro. more than my d675 was priced as new! Even the "new" st3 765 is a better deal and it is a telepathic handling bike. For that price I rather get an Ducati 748 for about half the price!
    But the content is right in my ballpark, relaxing in my sofa and enjoying to the max! :)
