That’s all great stuff & effort Dave! Never seen you tired, hungry & testy! You need a decent slice of apple crumble!🤣🤣✅ Loving the transformation of the little race bike! Go get Obsessed!🇮🇹🚀
for those wondering what this bike weighs fully fueled, it should be around 171kg. Gas weights around 0.75kg/L, times that with 14.5L (0.5l already in thant) = 10.9kg, plus 160.8kg bike's current weight and it should be at around 171kg. That's pretty good! Add on a set of carbon wheels, and maybe a carbon race subframe (if they make one) and now you're pushing mid-150kg fully fuelled, or same as a 690/701 supermoto, albeit with WAY more top speed! I might need to build one of these! (EDIT: I'm assuming the bike already has a lithium battery?)
Correct on the battery. Taking the ABS pump off would save a bit and there's still a few brackets and bits which would be easy savings. A carbon, or even lighter subframe would be very nice too

Very cool - enjoying this series - the 660 is a really nice bike and there's not much race content out there like this.
Looks and sounds great good luck with it can't wait to see next episode Dave.
Thanks for the video Dave
Can't wait to see it on track

interesting that Dave - certainly on the belmouths.
Why do you need less steering lock?
If it tank slaps the reduced lock helps it not get as bad
Who does your dynoing Dave?
