If you're gonna go super aggressive with Pokestop, cut down to 1 Boss and then maybe 1-3 Pokemon Catchers. Night Stretcher is def really good in Bolt. Having a hard time finding bench space since my "ideal" board is usually Greninja, 2 Bolt, 2 Ogerpon, and then prob Squawk. I also don't think you need 4 energy retrieval and 4 night stretcher. Some combo of both is obviously good but idk about 4-4 count for both, seems really heavy when you could be playing other cards like maybe more grass energy or more Pokegears.
I must say not a fan of 5 grass here, Azul. Would probably cut one stretcher for additional Grass as 6 worked out well for me, even if I got 2 got prized. Sometimes that Ogerpon opening with a grass in hand makes a whole lot of difference.
I view Fezandipiti as a safeguard against Iono KO from opp, especially near the end of the game. Early to mid game I rarely find myself wanting or even needing a Fez.
Ive tried 3 night stretcher & dont think it helped my deck at all. As i either akways had the pokes i needed so i cut them for 1 powerglass, 1 Super rod & Superior energy retrieval.
Super interesting video as always!! Do you plan on doing one with Snorlax Stall as well? I'm curious on your thoughts on Neutralization Zone with Stall
I gave up iono and put in a research. Hand disruption is good but I feel like this deck is never behind enough to benefit without it being a hinderance; but being able to dump your hand and dig for 7 without squak comes up sometimes when you’d otherwise be desperate enough to consider iono
@@etrigan778 Research is a massive no/no in this deck. There’s 0 reason to run it. Dead hand turn 1? You reach with squawk. If squawk is prized, iono is a single card difference and you aren’t risking getting rid of important pieces. If you don’t get a sada you’re not attacking regardless. Any time you use a research is a wasted turn. Iono is first and foremost for the games where you aren’t taking the first 2 prizer or are losing the prize trade and are in desperation mode when they’re down to 1/2 prizes. Iono has come in clutch for me plenty of times I start slow or go first against mirror, or am just losing the prize trade.
@@Khoraseems like the best decks in the format, zard/pidgey, drago, and kirlia can all easily dig out of an iono disruption. I’ve never seen this be able to dig itself out of an iono to 2 or even 4 when you’re left hoping to hit key cards to use teal dance or conceal to recovery. Every other deck has free draw abilities
Fez ex is interesting but hard to find space for as you said. I’m interested in going up to 3 Night Stretcher. I currently have 2, one ultra ball, and one superior energy retrieval. I find myself using the SER so infrequently that it could be better as a second UB or third NS It felt super bad losing Boss to Poke Stop so I run 2 Catcher instead of 2 Boss. With only 1 Pal Pad it can be hard to recover them when you also need to be mindful of Sada 5 grass energy is definitely a choice. Very risky but what is life without risk. Side note, with Super Battle Compressor as an Ace Spec, what would your thoughts be on a hypothetical ace spec version of VS Seeker. Maybe one that gets you two Supporters to make it more worth it?

Azul officially a Certified Bundle Enjoyer, borderline Enthusiast.
How do you get those sleeves?? They are sweet looking but I don't seem them as an option to buy when deck building. Are they a promo or something??
The yellow dragon energy sleeves are a new default equivalent replacement with the latest update. Everyone should have them available
@@BigSumoFan Thanks. I must be looking in the wrong place then.
@@BigSumoFan So I'm an idiot. I was looking under deck boxes, not deck sleeves tab. I see them all now.

Charizard ex DL for Shrouded Fable or skip?
I love this videos when you upgrade old decks, may i ask for an improved chien pao deck?

Actually commented before watching the first game, but that was probably a perfect example of what I find myself getting stuck into sometimes lol
When you play vs good players you will NEED to plan to have an Iono endgame for their hand.

I think I like fluttermane more than sandyshock, its a better match up againts garde and it felt more reliable, also some people play lost city
Isn't Iron Leaves the better tech in this deck, if room for one more monster...
I find RB to be deceptively complicated. The overbenching problem is very easy to run into if you are too aggressive in searching for a T1 ko
thoughts on running 1 of the new kyurem for the lost box matchup?
Powerglass is an interesting addition I've been playing with.
It is pretty good against decks that do not OHKO Raging Bolt (I'm looking at you, Iron Thorns). But otherwise, meh.
Yeah powerglass feels like a custom card for this deck, free 70 damage on KO
If I’m running powerglass, I’m also running bravery charm and arven, just for more utility and options.
Wha does it do?
@@snowman3456 when you Pokemon attacks you can put a discarded energy back on it before ending the turn.
5 grass, 1 pokegear no ultraballs. this build is never going to work
Who won lol
....... this is not it chief
Buddy chill out and you might learn something
