- The Arroyo Seco, Spanish for “dry stream,” runs from Mt. Wilson in Angeles National Forest down through Pasadena until it meets the Los Angeles River. Efforts to preserve the stream and the canyon it runs through started more than 100 years ago; now it’s #BadHikers favorite urban hike! Brittany picks up on the secret garden vibes under the freeway; Andy chooses his own adventure.

We’re Brittany and Andy, a pair of weekend warriors exploring every inch of the backcountry within driving distance of our home in Los Angeles and beyond. Brittany is a reformed indoor kid who just recently took up backpacking; Andy is completely at home in the outdoors (and pretty much anywhere), but we’re both new to life in front of the camera.
