Pretty straightforward. Combines Bionicle 2 and 3 into a seamless viewing experience, an "Ultimate Bionicle 2" if you will, with a few tweaks here and there to smooth the whole thing out. Some reshuffled narration here, an Easter egg there, you'll get the gist.

A most definite version of the cinematic version of the Metru Nui saga

The sad part is his method of disposing of them wasn't far off from shooting them out of an air lock.
This was a masterpiece! The transitions were so smooth!
For me at least, this is the definitive version of these two movies.

if I weren't working from an intimate familiarity of these films, I'd likely assume it was how it was supposed to be, in the same vein as the narrator's other speeches throughout lomn

As a kid the transition from 2 to 3 really confused me. It was always really…janky. This is the best merging of the two I’ve seen and it finally makes sense

This somehow simultaneously improves Legends of Metru-Nui as a film, yet also downgrades Web of Shadows as a film. You monster.
Nah, this is still spectacular work. You blend both films of really well, and it does improve them both in a narrative standpoint. Editing the music & Turaga Vakama’s narration must’ve been pretty hard.

Wasn't expecting Lihkan at the end of Web of Shadows there, but it works so well, and the ending narration... so much more powerful. Legends of Metru Nui is still a disappointing movie, but now at least there's a version which plays up its stengths and ties it Web of Shadows better. Been thinking about doing something like this for a long time, but you beat me to it! And did a great job to boot.
Am I missing something? Where is Lhikan at the end of WoS?

Thanks! First half’s the grungier demo version that you can find floating around the ether, but is best sourced from the BioMedia Project.
Second half after the beat drop is the original, just edited to be shorter and have a distinct cut off that’s trying to emulate the way the original music video arranged it.
Great edit but why didn't you include the final scene from the third movie?
To avoid the wonky pacing of two epilogues. I just don’t think they flowed well into each other.
Plus Bionicle 2’s epilogue just feels like a better capper bringing things full circle. It doesn’t hurt to leave the He-was-telling-a-story-to-the-others angle implicit, and I felt incorporating some of that ending narration from 3 into 2 was a decent compromise.

For more than 20 long years I've waited for someone to do a fan edit like this for those two movies. And here I am now discovering this wonderful piece of art a year *after* its been posted. 'Deep breath' This makes me happy 🦾
