My hair is thin and fine but thanx to your videos I've managed to retain length, keep it healthy and get a bit of thickness due to your onion juice recipe... I feel way more confident now
thin and fin do not mean the same thing. If you're seeing scalp, you have thinning hair, which does not necessarily mean you have fine strands. Nutrition might be the issue.
@@LisePlansandJournals I have “fine” hair I’ve been told but some areas I can see more scalp then others (crown and some top) and my crown never seems to grow past a certain length while the back grows just great. My hair is both dense and fine but also thick and thin from top to bottom. From my forehead to the middle it’s dense and I think thin to normal size. While from middle to nape it’s thick but more fine than the top. The nape is like S and maybe some I very loose but as you move up a little it’s L to O for the most part and the very front it’s a mixture of like I and L together that’s makes it a different strand type. Coconut oil my main go-to. A lot of ppl for some reason don’t like it but it works for me! The key is I always use some oil to moisturize then seal it with Shea butter Hope that helps ladies! I don’t know exactly what products she uses (didn’t ask) but products are completely subjective depends on what your hair likes. Gorgeous pictures of you! And, another wonderful video, which is helping me to understand my hair more and more. It seems my hair is fine and dense. I have always said, about my hair "It is fine, but I have a lot of it." These days I am happy to still have hair on my head, as I will be reaching the wondrous age of 73 in June! I have an autoimmune condition and take medications, which contributed much to thinning over the past 10 years. Yet, when I take my twists down, my hair appears full... At the beginning of February, I started using your Onion Juice recipe weekly and I added ginger to the onion, garlic and red pepper. I love it and see great benefits so far, including a slight increase in fullness and about an inch of growth! I have had a burning question for several weeks for you, if you do not mind. Why did you not include Rice Water rinses in your new Onion Juice regime last year? I have included Rice Water rinses, along with the Onion Juice prepoo, so I know it will be difficult to determine, which one contributed what... But I do know that the Onion Juice mix is my favorite. The Rice Water contributes to dryness, which is inherently problematic for me... Sorry about the rambling long comment...
I was thinking of applying henna to my hair and then to my scalp every few months to bulk up my hair so that it doesn't break easily. I have fine hair that has medium density.
Wonderful video, professional presentation, educational, encouraging. Your voice is very soothing; it was a pleasure listening and learning from you, thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The information and encouragement you have provided has helped me learn about, accept and appreciate my natural hair! This has really been helpful to me on my natural hair journey!
Hello Greenbeauty, what is your night time routine with your twist? what do you do to keep your hair so professional/great looking day after day with your twist looking so fresh. I've tune in my whole family and friends to your channel, thank you for all the information and products!
My hair is super thin and sparse, but once you said biotin can cause acne.. I cancelled it on spot!! I need my smooth spotless skin.. It was hard work for me to move from those insane acne break outs..whew child
Thank you for addressing this subject. I like the way you talk about ALL hair types and characteristics. It's very helpful. Just to add my 2¢, Biotin, as well as MSM, caused an increase in facia hair for me so I stopped using it. Not cute! I also find that henna helps with thickness. The way it coats my stands makes them appear thicker. Nothing drastic, but it's a healthy choice.
I have fine think hair that only seems to thicken up when I oil my scalp with castor oil ❤❤❤it truly does wonders especially when I twist it wet then add it and do a protective style. I also started adding collagen from Orgain to my coffee 1x day it helped (I’m 47) with my hair skin and nails and joints
With the suggested intake for biotin supplement, does that go for other supplements like collagen peptides? Can you do a video on collagen peptides? It's been trending lately.
My hair is all the way at the dense end but all the way at the fine side. You will have to work in very small sections when you are styling and wash your hair in twists to prevent tangoes.
Anyone with tips on how to care for sparse fine hair? Like tutorials, detangling without breakage, protective and low manipulation styles? All I do is wear wigs because I lose a lot of hair when I wear my hair out or do a protective style
Thank you so much I was suffering with protein overload and I haven’t really got into yoga but it makes total sense and plus I did it during this video and I feel great now 😂✨ Love ya 💗
Great video. First I was like dang she showed my most skimpiest hair pic lol but then saw you showed the one where my hair actually appeared thicker. #redemption ! Lol Thanks for sharing these fine strands. The herbal treatments have definitely helped thicken my strands up a bit but like you said it will never be a dramatic change and it takes time
Awesome video! I would also add consuming more water into the diet (at least 64oz if possible) , also with consuming lean cuts of meats for protein (fish ( at least 2x/week for omega-3) chicken, beef and/or pork) also helps. Again great video and your pictures are beautiful!!💐
Thank you so much for all your videos! I like to revisit your past videos, as they are so informative. I love how you provide scientific data as well as encouragement for all naturals. Old school subscriber that’s still watching in 2021❤️
My hair is very fine. I have a lot of hair per square inch on my scalp so it's dense but because the strands are fine it still looks a bit 'scalpy' when twisted wet and stretched to dry. So I feel that could give false results on your quarter density test technique.
I have I guess medium density hair with fine hair strands. My hair will snap off very easily, and it looks very "whispy" when I wear it down. I've worn protective styles my whole life, and now I'm finally wearing my hair out. I will say it has been a journey. In my whole 34 years, I just realized I have thin strands.

Hey so I use a mixture of avocado/coconut/jojoba then shea butter over it. Coconut oils in my conditioner. Coconut oil my main go-to. A lot of ppl for some reason don’t like it but it works for me! The key is I always use some oil to moisturize then seal it with Shea butter
Hope that helps ladies! I don’t know exactly what products she uses (didn’t ask) but products are completely subjective depends on what your hair likes. I’m sure it’s not expensive and it’s something that can be found at Target or some beauty supply shop because my sister doesn’t roll with overly expensive/boutique hair products that are hard to come by.
Amber D. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.😊
Amber D. Thanks Amber!

Hi GreenBeauty
I am currently taking multivitamins with 150mcg would that be enough for my Biotin intake per day or would I need to up the doses?
Please respond.
My hair is dense and fine. I always wish it was thicker! I love the info on your channel
Thank You 😊
You are a blessing, thank you for educating us 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you ☺️
What an informative and enjoyable video! This makes my healthy hair journey feel much easier to accomplish.
I’ve only watched two of your videos and I’m already obsessed
Thank you for another great video , very informative and helpful 💕
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The information and encouragement you have provided has helped me learn about, accept and appreciate my natural hair! This has really been helpful to me on my natural hair journey!
Hello Greenbeauty, what is your night time routine with your twist? what do you do to keep your hair so professional/great looking day after day with your twist looking so fresh.
I've tune in my whole family and friends to your channel, thank you for all the information and products!
I have constant crown balding . I need help 😢😢😭
My hair is super thin and sparse, but once you said biotin can cause acne.. I cancelled it on spot!! I need my smooth spotless skin.. It was hard work for me to move from those insane acne break outs..whew child
This was another great video. I'm so glad you're helping me educate myself. And providing the tools I need for my hair journey.
No matter how much I think I know, I always learn something from your videos 👍🏾❤️
This was very informative and helpful. Thanks
Simply beautiful!! Green Beauty is truly Black Beauty!
Ayeeeee!!! Those pictures are great!! Informative as always
Super beautiful pix!!!😍🤩💕💖
With the suggested intake for biotin supplement, does that go for other supplements like collagen peptides? Can you do a video on collagen peptides? It's been trending lately.
Thanks! Im about to watch it now
Beautiful pics sis!
I love your channel sooo much thank you for your videos❤❤❤
Lol your voice is so soothing. I am disappointed when the video ends. Great content also.
OMG! Such beautiful pics!!! ❤
This video was so informative!!!! Thank you so much 😊. May you do a video on henna, cassia etc. vs hydrolyzed wheat protein please 😬?
Another informative video, thanks for taking the time to produce it and sharing.
Whenever you used to talk about the quarter test it confused me so much but now I see that you meant where the ponytail band is
Thank you so much I was suffering with protein overload and I haven’t really got into yoga but it makes total sense and plus I did it during this video and I feel great now 😂✨ Love ya 💗
Girrrrllll those pictures are GORGEOUS!!!! 😍😍😍
Your voice is amazing - so soothing and the information is presented is easy to understand and motivational. Thanks,
You just don’t know how helpful and eye-opening this video was for me. Natural hair is truly beautiful 💗✊🏾
Muy interesante tu vídeo, sobre nuestros pelo. Gracias.
i noticed that my hair is more thick in the back and less in the front.
Im so lucky That I discovered your Channel ! Your so real ! N ur Voice is amazing
I saw that on Instagram and didn't even noticed it was you but sis you killed it
Great video.
First I was like dang she showed my most skimpiest hair pic lol but then saw you showed the one where my hair actually appeared thicker. #redemption ! Lol
Thanks for sharing these fine strands.
Your voice is so beautiful 🥰😙
Makes me relax
You and your channel are a treasure to the natural hair community! Great video! Thanks for sharing so much amazing content!!🥰
Thank you so much for all your videos! I like to revisit your past videos, as they are so informative. I love how you provide scientific data as well as encouragement for all naturals. Old school subscriber that’s still watching in 2021❤️
Love Islandboiphotography and have been waiting on the next one in this series!
Thank you, i discovered that my hair is dense and fine.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful teaching video 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Omg im so glad i came across this channel but theres so many videos and so much information i cant wait to learn 😩🤝
I have thick hair strands with low density. I can easily grow my hair till armpit length. After that it's a struggle I have yet to overcome.
Hi, any tips for someone with similar thick and low density hair?
Gorgeous glam photos!
Absolutely gorgeous! I love ALL of your videos. Thanks for everything you do!!!!
My hair is very fine. I have a lot of hair per square inch on my scalp so it's dense but because the strands are fine it still looks a bit 'scalpy' when twisted wet and stretched to dry. So I feel that could give false results on your quarter density test technique.
Great video! Super informative!
