i love Ponte Vedra ! Great schools there! I lived there for a few years as an expat in working class dolphin cove area .Best time of my life.Appart of that ,as an europeen i feel sorry how lonly you all feel ,with the gatet communieties ,no friends and everything just for the show.Such a beutifull country with so meny short sightet people .Greetings from Holland
Actually, if you're a member of one of the country clubs, you will have plenty of interaction with others, typical of any country club. I think we have far more friends since we moved to Sawgrass than we ever did up North.
That said, there aren't a lot of places outside of the clubs to "hang out". For that you need to head up to Jacksonville beach.
One Note... you mentioned A1A to get to Micklers, but the video is Ponte Vedra Blvd.
great information
Glad you found it helpful!
What is the price range on houses in the different areas you mentioned?
Hi there! Prices can range quite a bit depending on what you're looking for.
Feel free to text/call/email we'd be glad to assist!
you need to be a millionaire at the very least
I've seen condos and homes anywhere from about $300K to beachfront homes in the millions of dollars. It depends on what you are looking for.
I heard that Jacksonville has never been hit with hurricane 🌀 tornado. Also, there are not a lot of alligators or bugs. Is there a lot of sinkhole or bugs???
We do have gators and some bugs, but they really don't bother you. The birds and lizards eat most of the bugs. There are no sinkholes that I have heard of in the area.
As for the hurricanes, we still get brushed by the outer bands of storms as the pass. The typical hurricane can be 300 miles wide. What that really means is that the eye of hurricanes seem to miss Jacksonville ( and PVB). Part of that is due to the geography of the area, If you look at the map, you will notice that Jacksonville is quite far West. It's around the same longitude as Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Due to the "scoop" in, the Gulf Stream waters tend to pull storms on the eastern side out further into the Atlantic.
