The stupid sauce probably is a drug because the NPC stated that it was addicting and when Zooble and Ragatha were cleaning up she took the bottle of stupid sauce.
@Ch3eSy_Cheesecakewho knows, maybe stupid sauce is just pink liquid cocaine Edit: or whatever the color of the stupid sauce is, I saw the episode, but didn’t really pay attention to the color of the stupid sauce
Which raises an interesting question, if you think about it. Caine says he doesn’t have control over their minds, but he made that entire adventure, presumably including the Stupid Sauce that affected Ragatha’s mind.
@Ch3eSy_Cheesecake idk we lowkey give alcohol too much leeway. You're literally poisoning yourself for a thrill hoping your kidneys will just filter it out later. Realizing what it was is what made me completely stop drinking except for very special occasions.
@@spongeintheshoeWell, being able to influence someone's mental function and outright controlling their mind are very different things. It's also possible that it was a sort of placebo effect, especially if Ragatha does have experience with similar substances. There's also the possibility that Caine doesn't actually know how much power he has.
I love how they expand Ragatha's character. Like you often have this mother/sister figure character in the group who can be pretty bland and don't get much depth. At first, Ragatha also seems like the typical nice girl that sees everything positive. But she tries to stay calm and see the good in everything, to not go crazy. And she doesn't want to people to think bad about her, so she always acts comforts people and says nice things. I would like to see a Ragatha with her honest toughs.
One thing that kind of sticks out to me is that, well, Ragatha was affected by the Stupid Sauce at all. As mentioned in an earlier episode, the players' minds are the one thing Caine can't control or manipulate. So it just seems a bit strange to me that the sauce was actually able to make Ragatha "stupid".
I mean... They still retain the sensation of eating and drinking in the Digital Circus. Maybe that also applies for digital substances- where you can feel it's effects just not be affected in real life?
Yeah, from the way she was talking to Jax, it seems like she was raised to be a people pleaser; maybe wanting the affection, attention/ recognition of the people around her. There’s no telling who will be abstracted since last episode’s merch has made people theorize it will be kinger, and this episode made it clear that Gangle was at her breaking point, if it weren’t for Pomni. Also, is it me, or has Cain been glitching out more each episode? Possibly because he’s starting to realize that they are annoyed by him. Maybe Cain will be the one who abstracts in the end.
I think it's less Ragatha seeking control and more of her just being a people pleaser to an unhealthy degree. I've seen people pleasers stay in relationships that dont benefit them in any way, shape, or form or are even downright abusive because of their desire to please. Ragatha might not be genuine, but it's most likely not malicious. It's just that she fears confrontation so much that she'd rather just hide her true thoughts and feelings. It's why Jax is so easily able to manipulate her and to an extent the rest of the crew save for Zooble.
that's what i just commented too! i doubt she has any ill intent. she just is too afraid of hurting others feelings. but it backfires, because sometimes you NEED to say something negative in order to truly help someone else.
Ragatha does feel lonely and did not forgive Pomni for leaving her in episode 1. She didn't outright said it, but was damn near saying it. Her comments on Pomni interacting with Gummigoo is your answer: "She would rather flirt with the NPC than be with us". This is Ragatha taking offence and just barely filters it out. Pomni abandoned her once, and now Pomni sees something attractive enough that would keep her away from the rest of the group. A motive to stay away. She also uses the word "flirt" to describe their interaction, this makes the situation in her eyes more extreme and being enforced by the fact Pomni initiated this interaction. Ragatha also draws a comparison between the gang and the NPC and implies that Pomni makes the same distinction to choose where she belongs in the circus. "I wish someone would flirt with me". If Ragatha is 30 years old according to Gooseworx, then Ragatha might feel like she missed out on young love. A rich woman in her 30's with no love is quite uncommon. Ragatha wants to be loved and is desperate for it. The only logical explanation I can think for this behavior is that Ragatha is alone in the world. She has no romance and she implied her parents held her to high standards, and therefore Ragatha feels like even her own parents doesn't truly love her (and her being 30 with no romance only enforces it more). Now the gang start to see through her mask and it makes her feel even more lonely, the people who she is currently living with and is stuck with for the foreseeable future. Zooble sees right through her, Gangle experienced Ragatha's ugly side the hard way for both of them, and Gangle seeded a warning for Pomni. Ragatha is losing control and allies fast.
You do realize that Pomni never meant to abandon Ragatha in the Pilot, Pomni outright apologized to Ragatha and she wanted to help, but if Pomni touched Ragatha then she'll end up in the same condition Ragatha is in.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 I do realize but it doesn't matter. What matters to my point is how Ragatha sees it. Also, Pomni returned right after the attack to help but since she can't and gave a good reason to why she did promise to get Caine. Pomni however never returned with Caine, instead she went through an exit door thinking about herself. Ragatha doesn't know why Pomni didn't return but in her eyes she dragged herself out to be healed and it wasn't Pomni who did it.
@@FrostedMike At the very least Pomni told Ragatha she's thankful for being there for her in episode 3, so that might have mended the bridge at least a little.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 ragatha understands it wasn't pomni's fault and that it was just pure panic in that moment, but its just human to still feel hurt by something even if you /know/ it isn't as serious as it feels.
To be fair not everyone a ranch girl and owning a horse is an expensive endeavour now. At least with car there's resale value. With horse there's time limit for owning them and it's a money sink.
I imagine next episode will set up Ragatha and Jax as two sides of the same coin. They deal with their insecurities and the existential horror of the circus in opposite ways. Ragatha with performative niceness to get people to like her, but at the cost of feeling stifled; Jax with performative cruelty in order to feel liberated but at the cost of people hating him. Neither can show weakness; Ragatha lest others stop seeing her as stable and reliable, Jax lest they get the schadenfreude of seeing him miserable.
Ragathas need to be liked makes me wonder if she had a strict and/or neglectful upbringing. The line about tea parties and dancing lessons also makes me wonder if she went to some kind of finishing school.
Well, dolls are used to play 'house'. We we might or might not know exactly rich or poor she was. She has at least leans hard into the work counselor vibs.
It really does recontextualize the scene where ragatha reacts to seeing kaufmo abstracted. Irs probably the most honest she has been in the series about what she is really feeling.
Honestly, how i interpret this is that she finds Gangle annoying with the happy mask because that's what the happy mask is, just a mask. It's a thing that makes Gangle hide her true feelings and I think Ragatha is annoyed that Gangle isn't showing her true feelings. Another thing is that im pretty sure that she doesn't totally hate Jax or else she wouldn't care about him, it's obvious that Ragatha loves and cares for everyone in the circus and that she loves and cares for Jax but hates how he treats others. The reason why Ragatha won't speak up because she is afraid that people won't like her as much so she tries to sugar coat everything or not say anything at all, she thinks that people won't like her as much if she tells her concerns to them when really, that's what the circus members want. Of course this is just an interpretation, any whoosies have a lovely day:)
@@AkiRa22084 agreed. Gangle was relatable to me this episode, but in a frustrating way. Doesn't justify the harassment, but I can see why Jax messes with Gangle specifically. Gangle feels best when in control, and Jax absolutely hates control.
If I had to guess, ep. 4 was the intro to the world beginning to break. Episode 5 will focus on Ragatha while also showing a few more signs of things breaking down. Episode 6 will focus on the world fully breaking, Jax having a fit/ lore break, everyone understanding Jax, while introducing the true antagonist of the show Caine and Bubble. Episodes 7 thru 9 will likely involve the gang having to fight for their survival, learn the true nature of the digital world and Caine’s existence, while actually trying to find a true exit from the circus. With the final episode having a lore dump for Pomni.
If Ragatha's personality is a coping mechanism, I suspect she was likely a Golden Child archetype in her human life. If you're correct and she was from a rich family, she may not have just been a caretaker for potential younger siblings but also a "head of household" type figure (*or* being groomed to one day be the "perfect" head of the family I'm thinking Isabella from Encanto). Ragatha is so practiced at being sweet because she probably had the "virtues" of always being kind, sweet, accommodating, optimistic, forgiving, and smiling hammered into her by her caretakers. That kind of moral training, in addition to her own naturally cheerful and kind personality, has caused her to always feel responsible for other people's emotions. She feels like she has to treat people in a way that makes *them* feel better in the moment, even at her own expense (save for when Jax physically abuses someone). What she doesn't realize is that not expressing her true feelings is something that can come off as condescending. Her sweetness is a bit too chipper to the others, so she needs to learn to be a bit freer with her emotions. She can do that and still remain a good person. I imagine her breakdown will come at a moment where everyone in the group is at odds with one another and she fails to keep the peace.
I’m thinking the next episode will have Ragatha either get an evil doppelgänger that manifests as a result of her not venting her frustrations or she may just snap and start yelling at everyone, which could still lead to the isolation moment afterwards.🤔
Or she drinks the sauce. At the ending when Ragatha is cleaning up with Zooble, there's a small 3 frame instant where you see her grabbing the sauce. She mgiht be taking the sauce into the circus so she can keep using it.
Even though its a reference, It could still have some significance. My bet right now is that Ragatha was a mother before the circus, this is slightly hinted at in episode two when she baby-talks to Pomni. I mean her name Ragatha is literally also an allude Raggedy Ann and the giant swamp monster that appeared in episode 2 also appears in Raggedy Ann, a creature that wants to eat Raggedy Anns heart because her heart is candy ("a sweetheart") So dancing lessons could refer to her taking her daughter or son to dancing lessons, tea parties could refer to the imagination games that kids play with their parents and dolls (maybe one of the reasons why Ragatha is doll) And "Packages landing on my head" i genuinely have no idea. Thats just my theory though and im probably wrong but im interested find out more about her
All these TADC theories are absolutely abysmal Like it’s not even funny anymore The answer is always so blatantly obvious Yet they always find ways to make it more complicated than it really is
I think ragatha uses Jax as a mental punching bag, someone she can be angry at without the fear of being morally wrong, like how when Jax accidentally broke gangles mask at the beginning of the episode her first instinct is to just yell at Jax, not comfort gangle, not here out Jax, but to yell at him
I didn't know about the raggedy Ann reference. When she said "packages on my head" I thought of it as those proper etiquette classes when they balance books or boxes on ones head
I do expect next episode to be adventure free or at least not instigated by cain due to his glitch out last episode, itll probably end in pomni resetting cain, or bubble asking for help while the rest of the crew interact at the circus, maybe finally exploring the outside of the circus.
In Episode 3, it showed Gangle working on art, which I think was hinting at some of the themes for the next episode. In Episode 2, there was also a subtle hint about Episode 3 when I noticed Kinger with the bucket on his head. It seems like each episode includes a small clue about what's coming next.
Why are you all making her sound so bad, in my opinion she is a person that cope whith the situation they are in, by triying to act like everything is fine and is really insecure, which is why she wants everyone to like her, especially pomni since she' s new and she easily could do a good impression on her. She doesn' t seem that manipulative to me, maibe she does some thing more cause she thinks that' s what she should do rather than what she wants, but this could be the behavior of an insecure person seeking for appreciation , instead of a fake and manipulative person. Sorry for all the grammatical errors.
4:51 pommi's reaction to the customer asking for stupid sauce makes me think that stupid sauce was made up by Caine for the circus and it doesn't exist outside of it regatha could've used something similar tho
I thought the stuff about packages getting dropped on her head, tea parties, and dancing lessons was stuff that happened to her since she entered the Amazing Digital Circus.
I never thought I would think of Ragatha being rich, but that's pretty interesting. Also it's funny that the Stupid Sauce makes her a little savage to some of the Circus Gang and the fact she wants to be flirted with by someone when Pomni is being awkward towards Gummigoo.😮😅
Just a note: •We've yet to see anyone abstract yet •No one in the circus could remember their lives before the circus in previous episodes •In this episode Gangle,Ragatha, and Jax could remember their life before the circus/Their Jobs and Social lives •Ragatha was effected by the sauce, meaning their thoughts can be manipulated
Well, if you look at the teasers for what the episodes are about 5 is about Ragatha and then 6 is about Jax. We know that Ragatha has a "not so good side" and then of course Jax does something "unforgivable" presumably in his episode. Episode 5 would need to set up Ragatha doing something that lands her in hot-water with the other circus members and episode 6 with Jax potentially pushing her off the deep end. We already have foreshadowing she might be the one to abstract next given the first episode. Im gonna assume Ragatha either finds herself in a position of power like Gangle and abuses it.. or maybe some kind of gossipy stuff. Deflecting blame and pitting people against each other for her own amusement.
For a Ragatha based episode I imagine them doing something where they split the group up like in episode 2 but I could see them doing something like putting Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha in a group together and have Ragatha and Jax bickering throughout the adventure while Pomni is trying to be a mediator of some sorts and we get to see more of Ragatha’s true colors with her possibly inadvertently snapping at Pomni.
I do not think that Ragatha is the only one from a wealthy family. Perhaps Gangle is from a wealthy family with greater influence than the Ragatha family, which explains the mistreatment of their two daughters, while Pomni and Zooble are from the middle class. Kinger is potentially wealthy or from the middle class. The candidate is the only one from a poor class. Here is Jax. He has This might be the reason for his anger 😂
Ragatha is someone who puts other people‘s first in both a good and bad way and is desperate for everyone to like her even if it means bending over backwards to get other people’s love and approval
There could be the possibility that Ragatha is/was the oldest sibling, while her parent(s) are working she always had to babysit, play, and watch the younger ones. Making her feel more like a doll than a human. Instead of coming from a rich background, the way Pomni is a jester could reflect how she felt in real life. Many fans think that she was an office worker juggling everything and messing up is just a jester job. Along with how the other's personalities match their "avatars".
In episode 2 instead of telling Pomni how she felt about being abandoned by her she instead try to bait a apology out her by trying to put up a front that she held no ill will
I don't know if it's just me, but it feels like everyone's overreacting a bit. Like gaggle was being a jerk the whole episode, and she was using her happy mask to mask her real feelings in favor of being a controlling toxically positive manager. She had every right to dislike her in that moment. That doesn't mean that she hates her every time she's happy. It means when she is drunk or high, she is blunt to the point of being rude in a way she usually wouldn't be. Being nice doesn't mean being perfect. Even her conversation with Jax suggests this, she hates him because he is a total jerk to everyone but she doesn't want to be hated by him because even when she hates someone it doesn't mean she wants to be just as negative as them.
My headcanon is ragatha was a rich brat and punished by being sent to the circus and she is only nice to try to earn her way out of her prison which is why gangle said ragatha only has so much before she stops being genuine
I don’t believe that Ragatha would be manipulative by just being nice. But I would believe that her being so nice was her trying too hard to have people be her friend if she’s like one of those lonely rich kids.
Not to mention, in the pilot when Kaufmo initially attacked Ragatha, she had mentioned that they haven't always gotten along/laughing at his jokes, maybe her fake friendship was one of the leading factors to his abstraction?
If anyone remembers the first teaser for ADC’s three episodes after the pilot, we’ve technically seen almost everything that was teased: The Candy World, Haunted Mansion and now Fast Food Industry episodes. However it’s ALMOST everything… there was a render in the end that Caine said was “unfinished”. It looked like a stadium of sorts so I get the sense that the next episode, the Ragatha-centered one, may be a sports tournament/competition themed episode. It could either be an adventure centered on a singular sport or numerous sports like an Olympics thing. Either way, the idea of competition among the Circus cast could bring out a side of Ragatha we’ve only caught glimpses of but never fully seen before. At least, that’s my best guess…
I don't really see any clue that Ragatha was rich... every one of those lines (most of which were obviously a gag on her raggedy ann appearance) could just as easily mean she had a rural (and therefore probably rather financially poor) life.
in all honesty, i do think ragatha can be genuine sometimes. like telling off jax when he's being mean, or giving general support. she WANTS to be helpful and kind. but she's also a people-pleaser. she cares too much about hurting people's feelings that she ends up filtering some of her genuine feelings, and it ends up backfiring and coming off as insincere. the stupid sauce (honestly lets just call it alcohol, we all know thats what it is 😂) breaks down her filter like you said, and she starts saying what she really thinks. but she also questions whether telling gangle she didn't like the smiling mask was rude or not, which shows that she genuinely does seem to care about that. she just couldnt filter that out fast enough. she cares too much about making the others happy, and that leads to her completely avoiding saying anything negative. she could say something like "gangle, i think the new smiling mask is kind of unhealthy for you? which would be a genuine concern. or she could tell caine that sometimes his adventures are too much. but she's too afraid of confrontation to risk it.
Have you ever stopped to think that the older characters (Raghatta and Kinger) seem to trust Caine blindly (like in the pilot episode, where after being corrupted,Raghatta asks Pomni to call Caine)
Have you ever stopped to think that it's strange that now all of a sudden Jax,Ragatha, and Gangle can remember their lives before the circus when no one else can, and they were the 3 to go to the easy mode room?
@@almessasorrow4950 In fairness the only thing Pomni said she couldn't remember was her name, she might still remember her old life, evident to how easily she could work the cash register (Gooseworx said she's good at accounting, so she likely knows how to use those kinds of machines). Kinger's been there for so long he's gone coocoo when not in the dark, and Zooble just hasn't opened up about it.
@@almessasorrow4950 gooseworx confirmed everyone can remember their real lives, just not information about themselves individually (like names). kinger talks about his past in the mildenhall manor episode too.
i think an important thing to realize Re: Ragatha "Freaking out about the stupid sauce" is that the Stupid Sauce at least sounds like it's designed to reduce your intelligence. So it seems probably to me that she just didn't realize she wasn't sober, or didn't have the mental faculties required TO freak out about it. She didn't freak out because she didn't know something was wrong, or if she did realize something was wrong, didn't know that it was something that would usually upset her.
Does gold stop being gold when you remove the impurities? No it doesn't, it's a superior outcome and still the same real gold that it once was. Hot Take but : Ragatha now showing her "True emotions" or filtering herself shows a level of critical thought and patience to control her emotions and by extension keep herself sane and from abstracting.
0:31 we dont call you deepcut... stop it. Ragatha's transition into a drunken mind is interesting because its a direct juxtaposition to how she had been acting towards people.
I think Ragatha should get some credit for having the initial thought but having the sense to not say that. That’s a kindness I think people should learn. A “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” mood. So whole yes she may have some rude thoughts, she doesn’t say them because they’re rude.
I think the brilliance of Ragatha is how despite how seemingly “nice” she is, she’s so fake and disingenuous. She craves affection but doesn’t truly respect anyone. She clearly isn’t a very good person since I imagine she was stuck here for a reason. The stupid sauce just confirms all of what was strikingly obvious. I’m actually excited for her episode because it will give full insight into her character.
Nah, I doubt Ragatha is a 2-faced manipulative person. She just keeps her frustrations about other people inside out of politeness. Being annoyed with other people doesn't make you a bad person
I wonder if she was the typical spoiled rich girl who lost everyone in real life because of her behavior. Or maybe she was a rich girl who was very nice but had no friends because people assumed she’d be a “mean rich kid”. And now she’s using the Circus as a way to actually show she can be a genuine nice person, only for her to overdo it and thus result in it looking like she’s just playing a persona.
I'm definitely putting my thoery powers towards the latter but she might have a bit of the former too. I think she's a rich nice girl, but grew up being unattached to your average person. She's nice, but because she can't fully comprehend their issues, her niceties come off as false which isolates her. She might have set up Kaufmo's funeral not just out of feelings for him but because she could feel partly like she's responsible for his abstraction since she herself tries to explain to Kaufmo why she didn't laugh at his jokes. I'm thinking that this isn't the first time somoene realized Ragatha was being fake about her feelings, and it could even be something the keeps reoccuring
My guess is that the line of the packages falling on her head (besides the reference it is sort of related to) is that Ragatha could have had a job where she Packaged stuff and had Packages fall on her head at one point.
Something just occurred to me, this evening. A lot of people, including this video are hunting for a deeper meaning in the words of the Raggedy Andy quote that Ragatha used. But what if it's not the words, but the context that are important? Andy was complaining at that point in the movie that he's not being treated the way he wants to be treated, as a rough and tumble boy's toy. Given Gangle's statement that she's no longer sure if the doll's caring personality is genuine, anymore, perhaps this is a strong hint that Ragatha herself is having the same problem Andy did. If that's true, it's a brilliant set up for Episode 5, and "Evil" Ragatha.
I have only read the title, so I might edit this comment later, but I originally thought she was rich/royal, but the boxes falling on her head and "im hurt enough" didn't fit. Now, after some time, I think she probably worked at a more unique place that "brought a magical experience" to little girls. Like a Disney princess for hire or one of those places you can take little girls to celebrate their birthday by dressing them up and having other activities along the same lines as horse riding, tea parties and dancing. It would also make sense why she was often hurt as Chaotic little girls with too many things and freedom in a usually open but small space crowded with other little girls and toys is a recipe for accidents. It also explains her behavior as she tends to literally look down but talk in a meaningful way when trying to comfort people. Almost like she is used to camling little girls in distress. She's focused on everyone having a good time.
I just figured she said the reference because she was intoxicated and it was bizarrely funny just hitting her how she is what she probably watched as a kid--stuck like that in a game for who knows how long. They all seem with it, but they're probably all coping somehow. I wonder what set the clown off.
Maybe she were raised in a farm with animals. Ballet is a common activity for kids in many countries, as well as are tea parties for ladies of anglo-speaking countries. She didn't have to be necessarilly rich, but it's a possibility.
I really like the idea of Ragatha being some sort of nobility or social elite and basically laden with tons of burdens that she has to try and live up to. But I dislike the notion that she's *NOT* the mother/guiding light/big good/whatever as well. So I'd rather it be that she is being genuine, but it's being muddled by her also doing it out of social expectations. Maybe the game was something she agreed to because she thought she could finally unload in and relax only to find she, well, really hates being an evil jerk and *LIKES* being good.
I actually thought she was one of those pageant girls, but with a western style. I can’t for the life of me think of it, but it would explain the horses, dancing lessons and tea parties. I don’t know how it would interpret the packages though…
Regatha on stupid Sauce honestly just sounds like the average drunk teen who forgot that there’s a limit to alcohol I don’t think it’s supposed to be a reference to substance abuse in any way
Hey guys, just a small thing I noticed in this episode: on Caine's PC during the performance review at the end, there's a small sticky note with a drawing of a person and the word "galoba". I Googled galoba and it translates as "the sound of addressing God", so... do with that what you will lol (also, 3 references to 57 in this ep!!)
She could have grown up in a farm. With different types of animals or even grow up in a village, and maybe she dreamed of going to the big city and got screwed and ended up in the digital circus
I have a theory that I have that Retha may "relapse" because of your theory is true but if you don't remember being addicted, you know, I'm not getting into philosophy

Could you talk about The Amazing Digital Circus being based on I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream, and your speculation on how the show will end?
Can you talk about disventure camp? It’s indie and on its 4 season. So far great (minus a bit of season 3). I always love your outlook on indie shows
The stupid sauce probably is a drug because the NPC stated that it was addicting and when Zooble and Ragatha were cleaning up she took the bottle of stupid sauce.
Maybe just alcohol, if you don’t count that as a drug
Yk, more harmless but still addictive

And what if ragatha was a ranch girl and a fan for that old musical cartoon in her childhood ?
That doesn't change much, but it could be an option.
You mean raggedy ann and andy?
@opal7197 exactly.
To be fair not everyone a ranch girl and owning a horse is an expensive endeavour now. At least with car there's resale value. With horse there's time limit for owning them and it's a money sink.
Partially adds up, raggedy ann was pretty popular in the south.
I'm more of a ketchup enthusiast
Well, Gooseworx did confirm on her Tumblr that Ragatha *actually* like horses, so it can be a possibility. 😅
Thank you for a breath of sanity. Gangle was power tripping, everyone was annoyed by that. Even Gangle...
@@AkiRa22084 agreed. Gangle was relatable to me this episode, but in a frustrating way. Doesn't justify the harassment, but I can see why Jax messes with Gangle specifically. Gangle feels best when in control, and Jax absolutely hates control.
Everyone was annoyed by Gangle's power tripping. Even Gangle...
Ragatha is no different than everyone else.
With the final episode having a lore dump for Pomni.
i'm like 90% sure that gooseworx herself said that tadc is only 8 episodes like murder drones
@@tsunertoo9149maybe. I also would like her to go off
Haven't watched it yet, but if this is about the "dancin' lessons" then just know it's a reference to the Raggedy Ann and Andy film.
Yeap, came here to talk about this too lol
I hate how the next few theories about Ragatha and tdc are going to use the line as reference
Even though its a reference, It could still have some significance. My bet right now is that Ragatha was a mother before the circus, this is slightly hinted at in episode two when she baby-talks to Pomni. I mean her name Ragatha is literally also an allude Raggedy Ann and the giant swamp monster that appeared in episode 2 also appears in Raggedy Ann, a creature that wants to eat Raggedy Anns heart because her heart is candy ("a sweetheart")
So dancing lessons could refer to her taking her daughter or son to dancing lessons, tea parties could refer to the imagination games that kids play with their parents and dolls (maybe one of the reasons why Ragatha is doll)
And "Packages landing on my head" i genuinely have no idea.
Thats just my theory though and im probably wrong but im interested find out more about her
@Joshua-f7e8kI think that’s just a reference and nothing more but the pony thing is real
All these TADC theories are absolutely abysmal
Like it’s not even funny anymore
The answer is always so blatantly obvious
Yet they always find ways to make it more complicated than it really is
I think ragatha uses Jax as a mental punching bag, someone she can be angry at without the fear of being morally wrong, like how when Jax accidentally broke gangles mask at the beginning of the episode her first instinct is to just yell at Jax, not comfort gangle, not here out Jax, but to yell at him
I wonder if Caine started to use previous members in the circus as npcs for the next adventure getting a glimpse of Kaufmo
Every human has a facade they project when in public.
Ragatha is no different than everyone else.
the "packages falling on my head, tea parties, dancing lessons" was a reference 2 raggedy ann the musical lol
finally someone who remembers.
All this AND she wishes someone would flirt with her. Don't forget that.
Could be she was seen as too uptight and classy for anyone in the real world. Her status may have steered away people from interacting with her
Apparently, Ragatha hasn't been online recently.
There Are Hints That Ragatha Actually Has 😍 For Pomni. So 🤔
@@collinkeyser6827 I mean prob not given she did mention “someone” and not pomi specifically but you’re free to have that head canon
Ragatha deserves a redemption arc.
Why's that?
@ episode four showed signs that her nice personality may be a facade.
Ep 5 might be just that.
In Episode 3, it showed Gangle working on art, which I think was hinting at some of the themes for the next episode. In Episode 2, there was also a subtle hint about Episode 3 when I noticed Kinger with the bucket on his head. It seems like each episode includes a small clue about what's coming next.
Even if she's faking it sometimes, Ragatha is so sweet and I hope she doesn't abstract. 😔
I would love for her to abstract
@@carlenesinclair404 😦
Why are you all making her sound so bad, in my opinion she is a person that cope whith the situation they are in, by triying to act like everything is fine and is really insecure, which is why she wants everyone to like her, especially pomni since she' s new and she easily could do a good impression on her. She doesn' t seem that manipulative to me, maibe she does some thing more cause she thinks that' s what she should do rather than what she wants, but this could be the behavior of an insecure person seeking for appreciation , instead of a fake and manipulative person.
Sorry for all the grammatical errors.
4:51 pommi's reaction to the customer asking for stupid sauce makes me think that stupid sauce was made up by Caine for the circus and it doesn't exist outside of it regatha could've used something similar tho
im pretty sure he's alluding to alcohol here and is js avoiding demonitization lol
alcohol IS the real life 'stupid sauce'
@itsthejavavoid ok
We all know its drugs or alchohol
The line about missing her horses made me think she was a rancher.
I thought the stuff about packages getting dropped on her head, tea parties, and dancing lessons was stuff that happened to her since she entered the Amazing Digital Circus.
One could say she went from riches to Ragatha
I never thought I would think of Ragatha being rich, but that's pretty interesting. Also it's funny that the Stupid Sauce makes her a little savage to some of the Circus Gang and the fact she wants to be flirted with by someone when Pomni is being awkward towards Gummigoo.😮😅
Gooseworx said that we’d see an evil version of Ragatha in the next episode.
Just a note:
•We've yet to see anyone abstract yet
•No one in the circus could remember their lives before the circus in previous episodes
•In this episode Gangle,Ragatha, and Jax could remember their life before the circus/Their Jobs and Social lives
•Ragatha was effected by the sauce, meaning their thoughts can be manipulated
@ yeah, what’s all this?
@@almessasorrow4950 Gooseworx confirmed that the people in the circus do remember parts of their lives, they only can’t remember their names.
@almessasorrow4950 Circus members remember their lives, they just don't remember who they are
She also wrote her name very neatly in Cursive on her Nameplate,
which could add even just a small bit to her coming from a more wealthy upbringing.
0:58 In dutch, it wasn't stupid sauce but brainrot sauce💀
aren't they also the ones who said "skibidi sigmas" in the third episode 😭😭
@itsthejavavoidno, it's polish
Probably
2:12 its a reference to raggedy Andy’s song 💀
Ragatha seems like the type of person who is a self-proclaimed "mom friend," and then all she does is infantilize you.
2:07 I doubt this actually means something, this was obviously just a reference to Raggedy Andy's song
The horses one was definitely a interesting lore drop.
I'd say she probably had very caring parents, but that doesn't mean she's rich. Living on a ranch with horses doesn't make you rich
I love it how they get it to tell us the past of the cast 😊
Not to mention, in the pilot when Kaufmo initially attacked Ragatha, she had mentioned that they haven't always gotten along/laughing at his jokes, maybe her fake friendship was one of the leading factors to his abstraction?
Thank you, Thank you. 🙏❤️
Yes finally you’re talking about this when I first watched the episode I was like “What ragatha was a rich horse girl”
Ragatha is a very interesting character in my opinion.
I don't believe your theory but I love your channel
Not too sure myself, felt Kinger has more influence on her that made her kinder.
Literally the tea parties and dancing lessons are a nod to an old cartoon about dolls
The one thing I got to wonder is who or what put them in the digital circuits in the first place
Not sure how many people did fast food work but this episode really did hit me with all thr memories I had when I worked at one.
FINALLY someone is talking about this lol I feel like most ppl glossed right over the stuff we found out about Ragatha bc of Gangle's focus
I wonder if Ragatha snapping will make Gangle abstract?
@itsthejavavoid Okay, that makes... Some sense. So no name's but the story itself is fine.
@ yep.
Sad theory, but me and my group theorized that Ragatha would eventually crack under pressure and eventually becomes the next to Abstract
i think an important thing to realize Re: Ragatha "Freaking out about the stupid sauce" is that the Stupid Sauce at least sounds like it's designed to reduce your intelligence.
I'm scared that the last 3 episodes will have abstracting
1:37 who is not filtering thoughts?
Jax
@@annelisewilliams03 LMAO real
From riches to rags
I thought I was the only one who got the reference😂 2:17
Nah I got it the first time I watched it
@ nice
Not only is it possible that she was rich, but she might’ve been an alcoholic too.
Really relate to Ragatha, and she's one of my favorite charact3rs!!!
The sauce is canonically like cocaine: Addictive and completely messes up your mind
My guess is that the line of the packages falling on her head (besides the reference it is sort of related to) is that Ragatha could have had a job where she Packaged stuff and had Packages fall on her head at one point.
It’s just a reference to Raggedy Andy’s song
ok but the real question is ;
is it Rags to Riches or Riches to Rags ..?
( pun intended )
random headcanon: ragatha has a button eye because she is/was at least partially blind
She's focused on everyone having a good time.
now THIS was what i was telling others after this ep
I just figured she said the reference because she was intoxicated and it was bizarrely funny just hitting her how she is what she probably watched as a kid--stuck like that in a game for who knows how long. They all seem with it, but they're probably all coping somehow. I wonder what set the clown off.
I thought Zooble will have her own separate episodes. Guess I'll have to wait and see what in 7-9. I can't wait to see what Jax episode will be.
Maybe she were raised in a farm with animals.
Ballet is a common activity for kids in many countries, as well as are tea parties for ladies of anglo-speaking countries.
She didn't have to be necessarilly rich, but it's a possibility.
I think that pomni will be everyone’s favourite
I really like the idea of Ragatha being some sort of nobility or social elite and basically laden with tons of burdens that she has to try and live up to. But I dislike the notion that she's *NOT* the mother/guiding light/big good/whatever as well. So I'd rather it be that she is being genuine, but it's being muddled by her also doing it out of social expectations. Maybe the game was something she agreed to because she thought she could finally unload in and relax only to find she, well, really hates being an evil jerk and *LIKES* being good.
For some reason my brain thinks that the creators are trying to make Jax look bad and Jax will turn out to be a good guy
I actually thought she was one of those pageant girls, but with a western style. I can’t for the life of me think of it, but it would explain the horses, dancing lessons and tea parties. I don’t know how it would interpret the packages though…
Regatha on stupid Sauce honestly just sounds like the average drunk teen who forgot that there’s a limit to alcohol
I don’t think it’s supposed to be a reference to substance abuse in any way
The WHAT? 3:42 (I know he accidentally said super instead of stupid)
I have a theory that I have that Retha may "relapse" because of your theory is true but if you don't remember being addicted, you know, I'm not getting into
