gooseworx confirmed the next episode was going to be a ragatha episode, and it appears it's going to be a sports themed episode based on that teaser we got back in February, so wonder how that's gonna go down
Maybe she's going to be the coach and she's telling everyone they're doing a good job when they clearly aren't. The thing is that due to Gangle telling Caine they need "motivation", the stakes are higher if they lose.
We saw in that teaser video a unfinished model of a baseball stadium. We also saw ragatha teaching Gangle how to throw at the beginning of episode 4 which could be a hint at what the setting for the next episode could be. Furthermore, the episode could revolve around ragatha dealing with trying to please everyone in the stadium and making more mistakes because of that. She will get stressed and maybe almost abstract from the stress but then Pomni will step in to talk to her about dealing with people who don’t like her. The stadium adventure could also come from the suggestion box in a similar way to episode 4’s adventure.
In my personal experience, overcoming people pleasing and finally standing up for yourself can come from confronting an egregious bully, especially if they're bullying someone else as well. You'd think Jax would do the trick, but she has to live with him. I bet an overbearing coach will cause her to find herself.
Very much looking forward to Ragtha’s focused episode next but Jax is the one I’m excited the most. I think Ragatha is gonna have a breakdown moment since she’s the one always asking everyone how they are doing but no one does the same for her.
Same. I want to see what Jax's deal is. I know Gooseworks confirmed that Jax is not a good guy at all, but that doesn't mean we can't understand why he's the way he is. I want to see what makes the guy tick and why he treats everyone like his personal plaything.
her tragic backstory (they all have one) is gonna be that she was unappreciated, unvalued, attacked by the people in her life - hence her being a patchwork doll with only one eye who is always being hurt. she copes by being ragatha (i hate you, but i don't want you to hate me), wanting others to justify her self-worth by showing they value her
People also mention the line about tea parties and dancing (it's a reference to Raggedy Ann and Andy the musical but I think it still fits) as well as her line about missing her horses seeming to point to a very sheltered and privileged lifestyle. That Ragatha's real life counterpart probably lived in a very rich but restricted household where she was expected to always be prim and proper and polite
Its interesting just how LITERAL this show is while still keeping it whimsical and subtle. Like I dont know how you do both. Like Gangle's whole thing is about how she masks her emotions, and she has a literal mask, Ragatha is ragdoll, you know someone who takes a beating, Zoobel literally transitions her body parts every day. Its like really on the nose for a lot of it and yet it remains subtle, I guess because the focus is moreso on the characters not the fact they represent things.
Well for ragatha motherly/ big sister personally is really telling there’s more to her character With ragatha it’s really stressful and sad that she needs to be liked by everyone if she really risk anything for her friends even for Pomni but at some point she’ll have an episode that can flesh out her character a bit more
6:23 u can see Ragatha with a baseball, u think it means nothing. yes? But it could also be a sneak peek into the next episode. (Sports theme) my guess is that Ragatha in her normal life. Did sports and active things, like. (Ballét) (Tea Parties) and potentially (Horse racing) Hence why In the Sneek Peek for ep 2, There was a stadium after Spudsy's was shown.
A sports stadium sounds like the perfect place for Ragatha to face her problems to me. If Ragatha always wants everybody to like her than what easier place is there for that to flare up than in a packed stadium with a massive crowd of eyes on her at all times? It's a recipe for disaster and I can't wait to watch it play out!
I have a similar trait to Ragatha and have grown up as seen as the big sister in any situation as well as some abandonment issues. I think a part of her people pleasing is also a cope to deal with the Digital Circus. In episode one she expresses something about how the adventures bringing routine that helps keep everyone from snapping. Sometimes its easier to help other people that yourself especially in distressing situations which I think is more of Ragatha's character. She knows that everyone is depending on her for stability in this Digital Circus, that if she loses her composure everyone else will abstract and that she feels like she can't have negative feelings because how can everyone survive if shes in trouble. Something like that.
I'm calling it now, the next episode is about a baseball game, jax kinger and zooble on one side, ragatha gangle and pomni on the other, ragatha's team gonna suck which maybe causes her to have breakdown as she tries to spare there feelings, if I'm right i deserve a cookie.
Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed when people try to overanalyze that reference? Like bro, it's not anything deep. Just a silly reference to a classic movie
im hoping the way it breaks down is a showcase of a character type i feel is never shown off enough, the person who just wants to be sunny and cheerful. theres way too many times that people often feel these kinds of people are often putting a mask or if some thoughts slip out that are kinda negative those are the true thoughts, but sometimes people just wanna be a happy good person and either those thoughts are just intrusive or reactionary and the perception that people might think its faking to be like that is just misunderstood that they truly are genuine all the time. ragatha gives off that vibe where she seems to just want to be a nice person and while she people might not perceive if its genuine it really is.
Very much agreed! I'm sort of one of those people. I like being cheerful and supportive of others, not because I want to be popular, but because I genuinely want others to feel good about themselves. Just because negative thoughts come out once in a while doesn't mean I'm faking it or am shallow
A theory i came up with listening to this is that Ragatha may have come to the circus with others, until they abstracted and now feels regretful so she tries her best to come off supportive to the remaining. Essentially destroying herself in the process but as long as the others feel safe and as comfortable as they can be given their situation
Unfortunately, I feel that Ragatha will get to a point in episode 5 that's a breaking point. She'll promptly lash out at every circus members for the pettiest annoyances and then immediately abstract. I have a Ragatha plush at home that I cuddle regularly and look at as a waifu. If she went out with such a bad last impression, I wouldn't be able to love her anymore. I wouldn't even be able to blame it on bad writing (like I could with Star vs. The Forces of Evil post-Battle of Mewni) since Ragatha's insecurities have been built up over time. It wouldn't make it any less heartbreaking and stress inducing for me though.
Honestly, episode 4 just puts Ragatha on a emotionally-held pedestal for the next episode. 😅 Looks like Gangle’s masks don’t just stretch to her herself.
I have a crack theory, but remember when they revealed a bunch of unfinished models for fun? i swear I recall one of the settings being a stadium of some sort What is the adventure in Episode 5 is a Football/Soccer themed adventure? Being a 'famous' football player for a day could be what brings Ragatha's feelings of needing to be loved to the surface. Specially if the NPCs in the audience end up not liking her because she plays badly or smth
We also got a bit of info on Ragatha's previous life due to her being wasted, how she misses her horses, how she was tired of balancing stuff on her head, attending Tea Parties and Dancing Lessons, it seems she came from a high profile family for her to say all that.
@@Junept2 …women of status? This isn’t the 19th century. People who have horses often are farm people. Yes, horses are expensive but they belong to farmers more often than rich ppl. Rich ppl have expensive cars, there’s no point in spending money on riding lessons and horses unless it’s a passion of theirs. And a passion doesn’t ensure they’re well off or have high status.
Based on the leaked synopsis for episode 5, and an unfinished baseball stadium model from the season one teaser trailer, it looks like Ragatha’s adventure is going to be sports themed, which makes a lot of sense if you really think about it. Athletes, like any famous profession, are very reliant on people liking them in order to stay relevant and beloved by the masses. If you fuck up, you essentially lose everything. Sounds perfect for someone with a desperate need to be liked by everyone, like Ragatha.
Could be in a baseball stadium as seen in the preview all the way back when episode 1 took off and maybe Ragatha would be the main leader of the baseball team with the others and it’s clear they all SUCK, but Ragatha would keep telling them that they all have a chance to win the game, they are all great in their own ways like a cheesy 80’s or 90’s film. Maybe when the pressure finally pushes Ragatha to her breaking point, Pomni would then tell her that bottling up her emotions like that isn’t healthy and should tell the others how she genuinely feels so each one of the cast members can improve. However, Ragatha would take that advice a little TOO much to heart and starts berating the cast members letting her true feelings out like Ragatha mentioning that Zooble being uncomfortable in her own body is a stupid thing to worry about in this Digital Circus hell scape, Ragatha legitimately believes that Kinger is actually just crazy and Ragatha starts to question WHY Kinger hasn’t abstracted yet, Ragatha bringing up Gangle’s mask incident from the previous episode and berates her about it, Ragatha letting out her complicated emotions to Jax on how she HATES his guts, but still wants Jax to like her to some capacity and is probably putting on the tough guy mask on purpose and would especially bring up the whole “Pomni leaving Ragatha behind after being attacked by Kaufmo” incident, causing Pomni to immediately feel the guilt from that whole situation which she didn’t have time to process back in episode 2 and Ragatha tries to force Pomni to apologize to Ragatha and makes Pomni increasingly uncomfortable. Maybe it would be to the point where even JAX would have to tell Ragatha to chill out on her spiteful revelations about everyone. This could in turn cause some of them to distance themselves from Ragatha to process what she just said about them and others would actually grow closer to Ragatha since she was actually genuine with her feelings about everyone, although they all agree that Ragatha took her honestly too far with her insults. Idk, just throwing my ideas on how episode 5 could delve into Ragatha’s unhealthy “people pleaser” mentality into one of Caine’s adventures.
This is off topic, but do you guys think that Kinger has Hyperthymesia which is a condition that leads to people to be able to remember an abnormally large number of their life experiences in vivid details, though google says being in complete darkness is not a typical human function.
Imagine Ragatha only became a people pleaser was because the people pleaser that helped her adjust abstracted and once she realized the group was cooked without that person she became the character we know and Pomni will realize Ragatha's true mental struggles and Ragatha will abstract. Feeling guilty she will try to bring the group together but at the cost of her own sanity and it's an infinite cycle of comforting people at the cost of your own mental state... Well it's just a theory :D
Comes from money? What gave off that impression? Ppl seem to think horses imply high status or wealth but that’s like 1900’s ideas. Did you know the Amish have horses? Farmers? That doesn’t imply wealth at all. Assuming she’s rich and therefore has trouble just interacting with the “poors” is SUCH a reach. Ppl sure love to demonize her for no reason lol
While Jax is a jerk who picks on the other characters, I can’t help but feel like Ragatha especially snaps at him to vent all of her frustrations. It’s like she has a lot of bottled emotions for the physical and emotional damage she goes through, so she snaps at Jax to lash out her emotions without upsetting anyone else or painting herself as the bad guy. I kind of noticed this in the beginning of the episode since someone mentioned in another video that she just started yelling at Jax rather than helping Gangle out. Plus, Kevin Temmer’s video of Ragatha & Jax’s argument showed her getting more upset than normal and Jax mentions that she always treats him like the bad guy.
I originally thought that episode five was gonna focus on Zooble, episode 6 would focus on Ragatha, and episode 7 would focus on Jax. After hearing that episode 5 would focus on Ragatha now I'm currently thinking episode 6 will focus on Zooble and episode 7 will focus on Jax.
@@SunnyyDayzz well I don’t think we learned enough about Zooble in episode 3 that what we got of them was all that much. I think episode 6 will be their focus episode.
I like ragatha but she’s a bit of a suck up. She needs to learn that she can’t put on a happy face while bottling her emotions down, she needs to be honest with people even if it hurts them.
5:53 Two things, I think the stupid sauce is much closer to the effects of marijuana or alcohol than LSD or any other psychedelic for that matter, because she still has lucidity and understands what's going on around her, and also that molecule on screen is not even close to what acid looks like chemically. I don't even think that's a drug if I'm being honest (though I could be wrong)
I like the high school idea, like Cain might make the adventure about becoming the prom king/queen or even just the most popular kid at school. Ragatha might succeed in gaining numbers at first but then will quickly lose followers once they realize she is only telling them what they want to hear.
I really love the amazing digital circus and i hope if the show gets way more popular towards the end the show will continue because im getting so invested in the characters especially kinger and gangle is a close second or hope glitch will release shows similar to the amazing digital circus in the near future glitch really cooks with it comes to their animated projects ❤️ 😀
I’m so tired of people dogging on Pomni for leaving Ragatha. She tried to help her but couldn’t and then she couldn’t find Cain and then she saw an exit. like come on. come on dog. It’s not that black-and-white. she DID TRY.
Yes and I said exactly that. She went to look for Caine but feel for the temptation of the exit door. Doesn't change the fact Ragatha felt like crap about it during episode 2.
Im going to call it now it might be a dating simulator episode for ragatha. That whole type of game is about being a people pleaser to get characters to like you and go to different routes. Drunk ragatha giving the hint for that episode “ i wish someone would flirt with me” would make sense
Jax sounds like the kind of person who always got blamed for everything and just ended up hating everyone around, because they always think he's up to no good. So maybe he adopted a mindset of just messing with everyone because if they're going to blame him, it may as well be for something he did.
I don't really think Pomni needs to apologize for episode one. Not only did she barely know anyone, but she wasn't exactly presented with an option to do anything. It was clearly shown that she was willing to help Ragatha, only to find that doing so caused direct harm to her (which is actually a pitfall people like Ragatha fall into themselves funnily enough). Then, with the exit situation, not only did Pomni try to look for Caine, but her actions, selfish or not, directly resulted in Caine coming back. Not only that, but Ragatha had no way of knowing what Pomni did.
I belive Ragatha family was the type that belive in keep your thoughts to yourself to keep up what other see of you, we know Ragatha had horses so maybe she was like stupid rich irl
I have a feeling that Ragatha is just pretending to be positive and happy just to cope with what's going to happen especially when she tells Pomni about never leaving the circus and probably goes insane. No offense to Ragatha, I'm happy that she's like a positive character, but I don't know how long she's going to keep up her facade especially during Episode 4 with that Stupid Sauce.😕
"Throw away theory here that has tons of plot holes. What if the Circus isn't a hell (like game theory said), but a rehab simulation for those with mental issues and only lets them leave when their problems are solved, but since everyone is different the simulation can't correctly identify the mental stability of a "cured" person and it believe simple solutions will solve the problems. A person abstracts when the simulation believes they are beyond saving. Zooble's issue is their discontent with their self and lack of motivation, the simulation has Caine try to solve this with giving them a body they can customize to their liking however this doesn't help at all, despite their discontent the simulation marks it as solved forcing Caine to move on. Gangle's issue is her submissiveness and forced facade (Forcing herself to feel things she doesn't want to). Jax's issue is well he is a jerk and apathetic, Gooseworx did say jax was the one who deserved to be here the most. Caine's adventures are both tests and stimulation exercises, to judge if the person has improved and how to help them." + Ragatha's People pleaser personality
I hate to say this but even if she was drunk, I feel Ragatha is a people pleaser, and might have a slight hint of Quiet Borderline Personality Disorder
She never said that specifically, she just said that people who are interested in an “evil” Ragatha are going to enjoy what’s in store for ep 5 but not flat out evil, but maybe different from her usual demeanor
I think pomni should not be fixing others every episode I get she is the main character but it is to cliché one charcter being the one to fix and help others than at the end they help her please no
I'm understand Ragatha, sometine you just o be up beat about life , but the minute you show annoyance : peopel think of you as two face , or manipulative ... ironically people who like jerk like Pomni and suddenly acte nice for once are see as heroes ...;that frustrating ... zoOble always act like grumpy but no one say anything about it
I personally probably won’t be a fan of Ragatha anymore mostly because I can’t stand people pleasers. I know it’s a trauma response and comes from insecurity, but people pleasers are manipulative, fake, dishonest, and selfish- which the latest episode exemplified. I suspect Jax to be the antithesis of her.
Imagine calling a trauma response usually created as a survival mechanism as manipulative, fake, dishonest, and selfish. It’s like when abused ppl try to make others like them so they don’t have to deal with more poor treatment. What fake and selfish ppl! They should ALLOW others to hate them! What manipulators!! How dishonest!!! Wanna know what’s worse? People who take offense to trauma responses personally as some sort of evil personality is far worse. They have no empathy, selfish, and are HALF the reason people pleasers exist. Show any form of weakness and they pounce and HATE you for imagined reasons. And this is coming from someone who has been burned a few times by ppl pleasers. You ppl r faaaar worse.
It's kind of ironic that all the characters are coping in their own ways but Ragatha is obvious by the way she acts
gooseworx confirmed the next episode was going to be a ragatha episode, and it appears it's going to be a sports themed episode based on that teaser we got back in February, so wonder how that's gonna go down

Maybe she's going to be the coach and she's telling everyone they're doing a good job when they clearly aren't. The thing is that due to Gangle telling Caine they need "motivation", the stakes are higher if they lose.

That doesn’t imply wealth at all. Assuming she’s rich and therefore has trouble just interacting with the “poors” is SUCH a reach.
Ppl sure love to demonize her for no reason lol
the fact they all have genuine problems and struggles thst can be related to irl, speaks to me so much
While Jax is a jerk who picks on the other characters, I can’t help but feel like Ragatha especially snaps at him to vent all of her frustrations.
Zooble and Kinger’s episode was 3
@@SunnyyDayzz well I don’t think we learned enough about Zooble in episode 3 that what we got of them was all that much. I think episode 6 will be their focus episode.
@@deniseg9210 ep 6 will be jax's
@@deniseg9210The show might dive deeper into them, but I don’t think we’re getting a whole other focus episode hun.
@@deniseg9210 zooble had focus episode 3 and 4. They’ll continue to have focus but I think the rest of the cast needs it more now.
I like ragatha but she’s a bit of a suck up. She needs to learn that she can’t put on a happy face while bottling her emotions down, she needs to be honest with people even if it hurts them.
think its not she cares about not wanting to hurt them but more not wanting them to hurt her if shes honest (in my opinion)
@ make’s more sense than my sentence.
She’s going to be living with these guys for the rest of her life. Wanting to be on good terms with them is survival at this point.
Hm, how very interesting, really makes me look forward to see what’s next.
I hope it builds upon what was said in this Episode.
10:10 nope, a stadium (in the video between ep1 and ep2 we can see an unfinish version)
BTW next episode 5 is going to be ragathas episode and episode 6 is jax
I like the high school idea, like Cain might make the adventure about becoming the prom king/queen or even just the most popular kid at school. Ragatha might succeed in gaining numbers at first but then will quickly lose followers once they realize she is only telling them what they want to hear.
Next episode, we are going to a stadium
I really love the amazing digital circus and i hope if the show gets way more popular towards the end the show will continue because im getting so invested in the characters especially kinger and gangle is a close second or hope glitch will release shows similar to the amazing digital circus in the near future glitch really cooks with it comes to their animated projects ❤️ 😀
I think Ragatha is going to abstract next episode.
I heard from somewhere that the next episode is going to take place at a baseball stadium with Ragatha as the game's announcer.
I belive Ragatha family was the type that belive in keep your thoughts to yourself to keep up what other see of you, we know Ragatha had horses so maybe she was like stupid rich irl
Gangle is always Gonna Remind me of Hexadecimal from Reboot. only like insane and psychotic,
Omg I think Ragatha might be me fr...
her and jax arguing reminds me of me and my brother
🥲
I love you Ragatha :D
I have a feeling that Ragatha is just pretending to be positive and happy just to cope with what's going to happen especially when she tells Pomni about never leaving the circus and probably goes insane. No offense to Ragatha, I'm happy that she's like a positive character, but I don't know how long she's going to keep up her facade especially during Episode 4 with that Stupid Sauce.😕
Episode 5 will be more interesting :)
Ragatha is my favorite character. I just hope that she didn't steal the stupid sauce at the end of the episode.
what's the name of that song used in the beginning of the video? I've been looking for it for a while
If you mean the one at the very beginning it's Grace Kelly by MIKA haha.
@ THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
Huh seems like my throw away theory I made seems to have a bit of evidence supporting it. But still probably a bunch of holes in it
"Throw away theory here that has tons of plot holes.
I think ragatha will play a Judas role and will end up betraying pomni and then abstract
Jax isn't that different from Jamie in Ted Lasso. Jamie puts an unlikeable mask because he wants to stand out and because of his personal issues
Is she supposed to be based on Molly from Bump in the Night? I'm just wondering.
That and raggedy ann
Coooool
7:56 How DARE you! /j /lh
What would she have done in Curly's position, I wonder
high school...is a good guess
I hate to say this but even if she was drunk, I feel Ragatha is a people pleaser, and might have a slight hint of Quiet Borderline Personality Disorder
Gooseworx said that we’d see an evil version of Ragatha in the next episode.
…no???
@ but that’s what she said.
Where did she say that?
She never said that specifically, she just said that people who are interested in an “evil” Ragatha are going to enjoy what’s in store for ep 5 but not flat out evil, but maybe different from her usual demeanor
@@sammcfarlane2494 no she didn’t lol. She just said that an evil version is funny within the context of next episode. Not that we r getting it.
I think pomni should not be fixing others every episode I get she is the main character but it is to cliché one charcter being the one to fix and help others than at the end they help her please no
In 3ep pomni was the fixed
Hi I’m new
Amen Amen
I'm understand Ragatha, sometine you just o be up beat about life , but the minute you show annoyance : peopel think of you as two face , or manipulative ... ironically people who like jerk like Pomni and suddenly acte nice for once are see as heroes ...;that frustrating ... zoOble always act like grumpy but no one say anything about it
My theory is Jax and Pomni are actually the only 2 who aren't "NPCs"
Goose confirmed that they are all trapped human souls
@justsojaded6776 ahhh got it, thank you!
The way you say gangle is so damn annoying. Its pronounced jangles
No it isn't
@Luna-nr7kq regardless as to whether you are right or wrong, it's pronounced differently in the actual series
@@Srindal4657 I don't think that's correct homie 🤔
It’s definitely pronounced with a hard g, my friend
where did the s come from?
