Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching! Honestly, I don't remember the exact exhaust set up, it was most likely Fabspeed headers but not sure
Your buddy got a little excited while your driving the GT3. I agreed. I’ve had a 997.1 carreraS and 997.2 GT3RS. It was one of the most visceral Sportcar, love the steering sensation of the RS. The steering felt very direct, very sharp, confident sensation feel to it. Now I am driving a GT4 and a 993. The GT4?! what a well balance weight distribution car, also driver seat lower in this mid engine car. Now I am a few years older. A touring car would be better in a few years. I would like to try a 992 s or GTS. Tell me which one you like more.. wonder if it’s necessary to pay the extra for the GTS? Let me know your thoughts. Cheers 🍻
That's awesome! All great cars. The 992 is incredible as well. S vs GTS is a tough choice, I mean I suppose if you want the extra power and trim, as well as upgraded suspension, then go with the GTS. But the S is fantastic as it sits as well!
If you are not a member of Rennlist you should be. You'll get a lot of opinions from hard-core owners that know the fine details of each series of cars. The 991.2 and 992 S and GTS are 3 litre turbo, which give you torque but the engine sound is not the same. I went to a 991.1 GTS, trading in a 997.1 C4S and within an hour of driving from the dealer I knew I like the smaller format better, so in addition I have a 997.2 GT3. Granted the 991.1 is comfortable and indeed wonderful, and it has PDK. I think you need to rent whatever you want to buy in advance.
The gen 2 has an improved transmission, a tad more power and slightly reworked suspension, along with a few other improvements, but overall you can't go wrong with either gen!
@@STRmw2 Widebody vs Narrow, 3.6 vs 3.8, those are the main differences. Search chris harris 'gt3' and you'll find an interesting walkthrough of the generations
@@DailyisRaceCar thanks! Turns out the gt3 was a bit too low for my driveway… but hopefully getting into a 981 boxster Spyder which will keep me happy til I’m ready for a gt3 car
I love the " Smiling Bonnet"
Great review. Excellent insights on the flat six and tremendous word pictures to describe the car (best vocabulary of any auto reviewer!!)
Wow thanks so much, Rick!
Great car review, great shoots, great recording angles, great video quality. It sounds beautiful. What’s the exhaust set up?

Good review!!
Thank you!
🤣 your getting good every day
Just so happen to be looking at one of these - what are the main differences between this gen 1 car versus the gen 2 with the updated taillights?

@@CassianLevinson thanks!! If I can confirm it'll can get into my driveway then we're all systems go!
