Calif and T were billed as the every day, Ferrari, since most Ferrari owners had a different car to drive every day Ferrari decided to offer one more comfortable and usable. It sits higher, so it doesn’t scrape speed bumps, and there’s more travel in the shock to absorb bumps.

The transmission does NOT last the life of the car (get on fchat) - my DCT blew up 3m ago in San Diego at only 48k miles. Had to have the entire transmission rebuilt for $17k (parts and labor) - mechanically it was perfect but the electronics all gave out; speed sensor, and clutch pressure sensors; and we replaced the temp sensor. The gaskets and bearings go bad which leads to this problem of the electronics failing (replaced all gaskets, o-rings, bearings) and a new actuator.

The Ferrari is a timeless v12 thoroughbred. The other car is a vulgar monstrosity.

First Gen Audi R8s are plagued with AC compressors going out and mag ride going out. The rest of the car is flawless but, those two items I mentioned are expensive to fix which makes this car a pain to own. Do ask how I know this 😂 and yes the engine must come out to change the stupid AC compressor. If you have one of these, sell it and never look back. Go for second generation

Great video. C8 corvette much more exotic looking and comfortable to drive. Vipers are Dinosaurs and are in AC buildings collecting dust. Dodge fans boys all went to buy hellcats 😂. The Viper has no place anymore. That why you don’t see them. My close friend has an 2005 Viper and barely drives it because he wants to collect rather than drive it. The TA you are driving is purely for the track. The new generations can’t drive manuals anyway so the Viper is a lost car.
