Maybe kaos saw Wildstorm as a threat. Considering that wildstorm was a mercenary anyone with money could simply hire him to potentially kill Kaos or something like that. Another guess from me is that since Wildstorm got stronger through his anger at kaos he simply was not worth keeping around at that time.
6:07 - 6:55 Actually Kaos’s mom is still in the mirror as of Imaginators, it is hung up in the Skylanders Academy like a painting. Stealth Elf’s backstory talked about how she at one point had a tree like master who taught her, even in the opening cutscene for Imaginatots the NPC Stealth Elf says to Ambush, and I quite “Master, you’ve returned.” So based off of all of this information I believe it’s fair to say the events of his backstory predate SSA.
I’m not sure if it helps with the timeline placement of ambush’s story but in the first cutscene of Imaginators it’s shown that stealth elf was taught by king pin so that would mean that the sensei Skylanders were around before spyros adventure
Another thing you could cover would be the imaginator crystals, and why they exist. (You can't really cover them as Skylanders for obvious reasons, but they're still an interesting topic)
6:46 I don't think it's unlikely that Ambush may be over a century old. Trees in real-life can live up to 100 or thousands of years, plus he's called a magical tree knight in the wiki, indicating he is a sentient tree, so I think it's more reasonable to accept that.
I was wondering when you would cover Wildstorm's backstory since he's one of my favorite skylanders in the series so this was nice. I also feel bad for him when reading his backstory.
If you want an idea for a video, then look into the Oracle from giants. He's a very interesting character that seemed like he had future plans, but didn't really go anywhere
@@PlinkyTheGrand thanks for the idea, now that I think about him, he’s the only person in Skylands (to my knowledge) who is able to say all the Skylanders names in game. There’s probably a lot more to him than I thought…
okay, back to it then, I really wish I could help making these lol, the wiki doesn't have all the info and that's an unfortunate fact you got some details of the Champions comic definitely wrong (if you would want I can try and provide you some sources for the comics/books over discord), what happened was that the comic arc begins with Trigger Happy, Bouncer and Night Shift training and warming up for their assingment as Legendary Skylanders, getting angry at Blades for running late on the mission briefing, eventually deciding to leave for the mission without him only to realize that he already went on the mission on his own without their knowledge, something Bouncer gets incredibly angry about and something that Night Shift personally scolds him for as the Skylanders are supposed to be a team, to which Blades basically says "not this dragon" and dips towards Machine Magus's stronghold, at which point Night Shift proposes they let him do his own thing as he needed to learn his lesson that he can't win all of his fights alone, they all simply hoped they could be there in time to save him when the time comes. Blades comes into the stronghold guns (or in his case blades) blazing, and after defeating a couple of Drow Machine Magus appears with a whole ass army basically taunting Blades as to how a team of Skylanders would be able to defeat him before but now even an antire army won't stand against him, and presents his Omni-Disruptor, a device capable of blocking the Portal Network, effectively cutting Blades off from not only his legendary armour but also from calling for help, he was basically all alone against an entire Drow army, and at this exact moment the other three Skylanders walk into the stronghold themselves and they all focus on destroying the Omni-Disruptor before summoning their legendary armour and defeating the Magus, after which Blades humbly apologizes to the others and actively considers abandoning his Legendary status, hoping he could earn it back someday, and Bouncer surprised at his change of heart says he should keep that title a little longer, basically saying to Blades he is still worthy of it even if he still has to learn a fair bit. now as for the caveats in this story, my personal theory is that it seems that the Legendary statues behave differently depending on who summons them, when summoned by a powerful Portal Master they can serve as basically carbon copies of the Skylanders but when summoned by the Skylanders themselves they serve as armour, empowering their own abilities. also something worth mentioning is that this story is actually important to the overarching plot of the main games as they are now, as Kaos basically reused and rebuilt his own Omni-Disruptor and incorporated it into his Sky Eater in order to more easily defeat the Skylanders, and that's the direct reason why some of them were sent to look for the Rift Engines, so yeah this is just yet another example of VV and IDW paying way more attention to the lore than TFB ever did
So the legendary skylanders are gained via a status or separate entities. Makes me wonder how the other in game variants are gained in the lore. Maybe you could do a video on that. Also wildstorm as a bounty hunter would be cool
Legendary Skylanders are gold statues that were created of the skylanders that won some tournament. Portal masters brought them to life. For the dark skylanders it changes each game.
we can't be sure about who but king pen OR ambush OR chopscotsh was one of the master of stealth elf (the other being cami flage and the guy in a cominc fogot his name) and chopscotsh seems young, and king pen has un uncle who met the skylanders prior to ssa (onk beakman) also i doubt that kaossandra broke free of the mirror
Could you do a video covering Sonic Boom? She has one of the most tragic backstories of the Skylanders and was in a book so she has a decent amount of fuel for this

Nice, I never knew about its connection to the Sky Eater.
@@ender01o66 it's explained in the Rift Into Overdrive comic but it is mentioned only once so I'm not surprised you missed it
I’d like to see a video on skylanders that murdered people (for example wrecking ball swallowed a wizard whole)
Bro this is so much lore about skylanders I never knew as a kid. Gotta watch more vids later on
(Idea) The complexe lore of the Reptiles of Skylanders (Dino-rang, Terrafin, and...I can't think of anymore)

all of that to say: i think that ambush is 100+ (tree can be real old)
Apparently Blades and Ambush are cooler than I thought.
I love your Skylander history videos, I watch almost every one as soon as it comes out
How bro felt after putting 'Maddeningly' in the title of the video:
🔥🔥🔥✍️🗿
Judging by Wildstorm's design and especially his monster form. He is likely an Oni (Ogre) from Japanese mythology.
Amazing video man!!!! Can you please do Fiesta for your next video!!!! He is amazing and I’d like to see your take on him!!!!
tuff
Thanks for the great video.
if your running outa ideas you could always do a lets play of skylanders

BLLAADDEESS!
Make one about more of the trap masters (short cut, gusto, and jawbreaker)
I think Wild Storm is a lion.
Lion wild a think storm is I.
Can you do an episode about the other various non trap master skylanders from trap team? Like fling Kong, Deja vu, and trail blazer?
Cool do a part 2 for reformed heroes
Oh yay new skylanders vid
on the wiki the" night " is a battleclass of imaginators

One about the minis would’t be bad too tho
