The developers behind this were originally just releasing videos that were gruesome and really well-designed. Then, speculation arose that they were developing a video game. Out of nowhere, a small gameplay trailer was released, and now, five years later, we’re still here. I’m kinda beginning to think that they just like to make cool videos.
Almost feels like the interstellar marine situation. If anyone remembers that game or heard of it. It was a game that I think that was announced in 2006 and was in development for God knows how long until like I think it was like canceled a few years ago.
damn, that name is a blast from the past. I completely forgot about it. I remember buying a founder's pass back when you still had to buy it through their own forums, before it hit Steam
@@disregardthat yeah. I still remember seeing the trailer for it back in the day and liking what I was seeing. I like the concept of developers were telling us a mix of rainbow six with aliens and system shock. Sounds like a game I would actually would love to play.
people forget that developing a game takes ages and bigger companies can afford to keep development under wraps until they have enough to push out as a trailer, the guys behind ILL have been sharing elements here and there from the very early stages thats why it just feels longer. i know the dudes behind it and they are very passionate people who want to take their time
But they broke the biggest rule of game development, announcing the game too early. You can’t show gameplay and make people wait like this if you know they’ll be looking for more.
@@thguy370 making games isn't necessarily an extreme years consuming art, it depends on many factors, but I feel like ill is that kind of project which goes through lots of testing and scrapped material
This game is not a scam. The animations and models, even the pre rendered ones took way too much effort to be a scam, also the patreon is making way too little money compared to what they could earn working as 3D artists, in comparison The Day Before was all Unreal Store Assets, no skill or effort needed
@@fishperson5390 we don't know what they skills are, there are just videos. They are good video editors/concept artists for sure. Nothing more at the moment.
@@Dima-dc5mf They are good at 3D modeling and animation, very good, and especially with the attention the game got, they could easily make 6 figures, their Patreon is nothing in comparsion
@fishperson5390 where I can get proofs of they professionalism in the things you texted? They have any game/other product ready that showcase their talents?
I've been hoping that this happens since I saw the first rendered trailer! Another horror game i feel vanishes for ages and comes back for a bit is Holstin! If these games are real there has to be consistency! Driving me nuts !!
My shot is that the game might release. But not very soon, because the game is on STEAM, that could explain some things from start, but there could be always situations that the team just gave up on the project or got burned out or something happend, but that would be a total end for team CLOUT i'd say.
A game like this would take such a LONG time to release. Especially when I just barely know little about the team and how big or small it is in its experience of game making
I hope this game doesn't become like SCORN, where those developers took 8 years to make the game, and when it finally came out, it took 5 hours to complete the game.
2026/27 till we get anything solid. Either way there are other games to play/things to do. 👍 The footage is pretty reminiscent of The Thing. If the game does release hopefully there is not a visual downgrade.
If these are concepts why not just turn it into a CGI Flim it looks good, lying about their so to be “gameplay” just gonna anger people who actually waited for nothing.
No, it will no be released. Its just a video concept, that people are tried to capitalize out of the hype from these videos, by thinking that the will do a game. For everyone bothered with this, don't expect anything. All they do is just crawd farming, and they do this pretty good.

but isn't it being made by like 1 person or just a few
@ no its being developed by a team called team clout
They were just animators right? They contributed to something else I forget what it was
Even if this is real, it's gonna take a long while to release. If it doesn't, then it's fake

You don't know what is crowd farming works then.
Crowd funding ✅️

And they are definitely doing high quality Crowd farming 😂😂😂
@Dima-dc5mf That's dumb, the Patreon money is basically nothing compared to what they could earn with their skill

A fucking men to that. Scary 30 min walking simulator. Thing was utter DISAPPOINTMENT
My expectations are really low
That depend on how many people are developing it. Deltarune has one guy with less than fancy graphics. Look how long it has taken to make his game.
Got the Day before vibes for sure
@@UKPOTOFGREED not even close. Day before was promoting their scam like crazy. This team/game has barely done anything

Blurdrake built this up for its mechanics, long before anyone thought of making a game out of it. See, it's all *_HIS_* fault!
Same as "the day before"
Isn’t this what happened with Allison Road?
The gameplay clip is probably proof that they’re legit trying to make a game?
It's probably just another Abandoned
No
