Make sure if you replace table salt that you get a source of iodine... it's a big nutrient we need. Also where do you buy your dresses! Super cute. Thanks for the video 😊😊
Absolutely! Iodine is super important, thanks for mentioning this ☺️👍🏽 A few months ago I made the switch to the Complement Vegan multivitamin that includes Iodine and a couple of other vitamins to make sure I am covered. Thank you! I either buy them from Carly Jean LA, they always have huge sales about 3 times a year or more and they are always having new stuff and random deals - here's $20 off your first order of $50 if you'd like to try them out :) rwrd.io/fyc67bl?c & some dresses are from TJ Maxx, such as this one :)
Those are my favorite oats. I love that Costco has them. I also end up at multiple stores to get everything I like. My husband and I watched that documentary last weekend and loved it. We found it so interesting! The Trader Joe’s sweet potatoes are soooo good. I buy 2 bags every week! Great video!
I hope they never stop selling them since we eat so many of them 😁 It's like a shopping spree but for groceries lol YES, amazing docuseries! I usually go for the Hannah sweet potatoes but these Japanese sweet potatoes are so similar!
Milly :) I just wanted to share that the sweet potato that Dan Buettner talks about is actually another sweet potato. In my experience, they are difficult to find in regular grocery stores, I have luck at some Asian markets though. Dan talks about the Okinawan/Hawaiian sweet potato which is a beautiful deep purple on the inside, beige on the outside. Japanese sweet potatoes are SO DELISH though!! I hope you guys love the ones you got-- I am sure there is a lot of longevity to be had from any diet high in plants and any tuber though! :) it is hard to believe there are so many different kinds out there.
Thanks for letting me know! We found out when we cut it open 😂😂 it was still SOOO good and sweet but we’re looking forward to a purple potato! Still have yet to see an Asian market around me so I’ll have to wait to try it. Looks AMAZING!!!
Love the grocery halls. Gives me ideas of what’s available at the stores. I hope you liked that Chile lime seasoning on the cucumbers! Have to see how the enchiladas turn out with your homemade tortillas
Thank you! so happy to know they help ☺️ I did!! soooo yummy! makes such a good snack! Will share soon! have made and shared the Roma tomato ones here th-cam.com/video/H2SfQLOTbQE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IBlMcOBNTl4tT6_G
I pretty much only buy those Oats now. They are sooooo much better. I have like three bags in storage because I’m afraid Costco will stop carrying them hahahaha Someone mentioned to be careful to get iodine if you are not consuming table salt. Some sea salt is iodized, at least here in Canada. I buy La Baleine sea salt and it is iodized. Cara Cara oranges are my favorite as well. Oh and the Enjoy Life chocolate chips are great. I get those white ones and they’re fantastic in baking. Nice to see you guys!
It's so hard to find that big of a bag of organic oats, definitely made me happy since we eat sooo many of them. Going to have to go stock up on more now too lol Thanks for mentioning iodine, super important. A few months ago I made the switch to the Complement Vegan multivitamin that includes Iodine and a couple of other vitamins to make sure I am covered. 👍🏽 right?! they're so good! Love oranges! & Any specific recipe you like for the white chocolates??
Still haven't gotten around to making them lol i will make sure to grab my camera when I do 👍🏽 I just do the maseca and water. I never measure it, just mix dough until its a soft texture. I will measure it out when I make them to be more accurate :)
I heard that the Vietnamese cinnamon as well as Ceylon cinnamon are better for you than regular cinnamon. Also, the sprouted oats are better for your digestive system.
I have to shop at 3 different stores. Costco has some great organic produce. Let us know how the cookies turn out. I have been looking for white chocolate chips. I will be interested in how you cook those purple sweet potatoes. I love the ones with the white flesh, but add coconut oil and roast them in cubes. Im curious if there is a better way to cook them. Also I absolutely loved that documentary! It was so good!
haven't made them yet but will absolutely share! white chocolate is my favorite so I was so happy when I found out there was such a thing as vegan white chocolate lol My husband pealed and cut them in small cubes and placed them in the oven on 400F for 30ish minutes. I will be sharing in another video too how I placed them in my instant pot/air fryer on the bake setting, 350F for 50 minutes. I'm sure you can do the oven too, I just didn't want to turn on my oven. Oh! and make sure you poke them with a fork 😅
They turned out to be a different than what we thought lol They were really good though, they were white on the inside. Tasted like a Hannah yam sweet potato :) Going to be looking out for them at every grocery store I stop by lol
Your adorable baby is so blessed to have parents who feed her such a healthy diet!

@@JoywithPlants Thank you! Very much appreciated 😊
I heard that the Vietnamese cinnamon as well as Ceylon cinnamon are better for you than regular cinnamon. Also, the sprouted oats are better for your digestive system.
and I personally think it tastes better :)
Fun fact, I had no idea about the sprouted oats. Even more reason to love Costco for carrying these 🙌🏾
