I think it would be cool if the AMA had a Open pro class , where 450's and electric or a 500 two stroke could all race together and see what's up , id watch it !
They should just make a hp limit for both classes so anything can race if it's within the limit
Be good if they dropped the multi cylinder ban too! The Aprilia MXV's are stupid fast, imagine what a 2024 model from Yamaha or whoever would do!

Robbie is going to have that moment of wishing this tech was around when he was 16 yrs old...when you realize how amazing it can be, how much it will progress the sport you love and shed so much blood for but you're just past your prime to physically and mentally push the envelope...it's a say day. Should bulid in some type of fan that sounds like a supercharger or a turbo, they could use the airflow to cool the battery and motor.

How long does it take to charge from 0 to 100? After how many hours does the battery need to be replaced?
Up to 2 hours to fully charge
Depends on outlet. In my 230v outlet in my garage it takes an hour to fully charge the varg. There's no limitation for when the battery needs to be replaced. It will most likely hold up for 10-20 years depending on how often you ride.
Others not hearing you really is an issue. Ironically it was a selling point for me when deciding to focus on e-motos. Getting to trailheads in my area requires hitting sidewalks and roads. Not irritating neighbors and pedestrians was very important.

What's the weight comparison to a real a dirt bike
It is a real dirt bike
it is a little heavier than a 450 but everyone says it feels lighter than a 450 when riding
by the time the 450 is fuelled up there's nowt in in.
118 kilos, So about the same weight as a 450, overall when riding it feels like a 125.
how can you really square of a berm without a clutch ? hope it dos'nt create more follow the leader racing.
it got more tourqe just twisting the grip than you get from dropping the clutch

@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE more places to ride, less bothersome to people and nature, less pollution, lower maintenance, full software customizability, you can hear things around you way clearer, you can even talk to others while driving side to side. Just to name a few
I think it will make people ride faster in racing and go bigger in fmx. get people riding more often and younger. and then for advanced racing i think the instant and sustained power delivery, regen braking/freewheel modulation, hand brakes, and overal rideability will be the main things that will make people ride faster than on gas@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE

If you can pull the clutch in, you can let off the throttle…
@@pastaalalamborghini I always have my finger on the clutch when throwing a wheelie just in case if things go south.
@@trapptours6679 yeah ok, what does that have to do with whiskey throttle? Whiskey throttle is when you fucked up and you end up way too far back on the bike, arms are straight and you're hanging on to the bars for dear life to the point where youre just twisting throttle with no control. ... If you had any control (and were able to grab clutch) you wouldn't be in a whiskey throttle situation

The tech is cool and they will allow riding in more areas but they are boring to watch. Burning fuel and making noise is the way to go, in my opinion.
Once you learn how to ride its better than gas if you have multiple batteries like I do

Yeah they are, but heaps less maintenance and the power trip is awesome. They don't sound nice though, but you can hear so much while you are riding them.

Blue tooth EARBUDS for sound!! Have a signal synchronized with engine BLUE TOOTHED into your earbuds!! Not only would it give you a reference point of your bike. BUT!!!, if EVERY BIKE has Bluetooth, when they come into range, '50, YOUR EARBUDS PICK UP THEIR blue tooth signal and you can hear them approaching!!

The problem with e bikes taking over racing is that electric motors are the autotune of Motorsports, new bars will be set for sure, but it will always be followed up with “yeah, but it was on an e bike” it’s just not as cool, impressive, or human. There is more ingenuity in trying to milk a little more power out of a limited displacement engine, and it’s more of a team sport. With electric motors it’s basically a 1 man show, plus maybe a guy with a laptop. Really cheapens the sport. No denying the bike looks like lot of fun though.
Stark wants me to pay for my bike before they assemble it! After my $100 deposit over a year ago. I'll stick with my KTM!

It’s a bummer that racing is moving to lower skill vehicles.
F1, MotoGP, WSBK, etc. They've been replacing skills with computers in most forms of motorsport for decades. MX thankfully has been an exception.

Real racers have 0 regen. I would never turn that on. It's for babies.
I guess every motocrosser is a fake racer, considering every 4 stroke has the same effect.
Run mine at 80% regen, its about the same braking force as the engine brake on a 450.
