No buying and mixing fuel/oil, no engine rebuilds, no maintenance, no noise. Maybe not now but in 5-10 years it will be a no brainier. Just imagine 50 years from now...

You cant compare two bikes with two different riders, you'd have to have two riders with the exact same riding ability. Or have two races switching bikes for the second race. 🏆

@@herdHistruth You can just get off-grid solar with electric. It's fairly cheap and easy to do. I did it with $7k in equipment that pays for itself in under 10 years. You can not source and refine petrol in your backyard lol

The 2024 ktm 450 has 63hp and can be tuned to like 70 something its pretty close but still looses in a race because it has to shift.

Good power out of the little EV bike 👍😜but being old school … I still prefer the smell and sound of a 2 stroke
I love my EV's. I love my KTM and KX. I keep my EV's outside and I run all Lipo as they are safer but do not have the same electron dump rate as the 186's.

Hello was wondering what you run for your front and rear suspension setup ? Is it stock suspension if so what clicker setting are you running? I have a 17 ktm 450exc
you have to adjust the suspension based on your height and weight, using someone elses setup wouldnt work for you
Ridden some pretty fast bikes but the torque of the varg is something no other dirt bike can match and the rumor is there's more in the motor

That electric would be awesome near me, your not supposed to ride on bridal trails that are 10.5 miles long, if someone had an electric bike you'd have a much better chance of not being noticed, just dont run out of juice - extra battery 🔋 in a backpack. No one likes dirt bikes except dirt bike riders for the most part.
Team Stark all the way. I have a freeride e-xc for stunts, a zero FXS for torque and a ktm 690smc-r for sound. My electric bikes are the most fun to ride, hands down.

The smell of a 2 stroke in the morning . Nothing better lol If they gave you like 5 batteries for a weekend of riding I'd ride electric. Have to run a generator in the bush to charge the electric so I might as well just use that gas in a 2 stroke bike.😁

Understand this electric movement on dirt bikes came with the electric vehicle mandate which means this is a political change... especially if you look into the amount of money being dumped into this, and if anyone understand politics, their end goal is to make us more dependent on them which means more money in their pockets, so if that doesn't catch your curiosity, idk what will. I think the fact that the battery degradation over time with the cost of replacing a battery at $6k a pop is enough for any reasonable person to understand this electric movement has to go lol. Gas all the way for every reason under the book. Just was reading a post that broke down the ride time to battery replacement cost and it was around 20$ an hour to ride these electric bikes, this is minus the cost of tires and replacement items over time lol.
