Thanks to this friendship I've wasted hours of my life watching stuff by Taika Waititi thinking I'd enjoy it. It took me awhile to realize his humor / art is aimed at 10--year-old girls who aren't particularly bright. Watched 5 minutes of that pirate show before deleting it. It was like Are You Being Served at sea. All the stuff I don't like about Shadows I assume is Waititi.
He didn't write Our Flag Means Death, that was David Jenkins mostly or the What We Do In The Shadows tv show, that started out as Jemaine and is now someone who worked on Flight of The Conchords plus others. Taika is a producer on those shows and directed a couple episodes. People often give him more credit because he's the most famous.
@@LAMiller I guess my bitterness really stems from thor. I hate Disney more than anything so I never expected them to produce anything worthwhile but after the newest one I doubt I'll ever watch anything this guy has anything to do with again - apart from Shadows lol.
