    I love bamboo in the jars. My favorite ways to cook it is hot and sour soup or bamboo laab. Your grocery store is amazing ‼️I don’t have a large Asian grocery store with reasonable prices.

      I love the sour bamboo too! I make a spicy sour stir fry with beef. I like it in soup too and in laab, one of my favorites! Thank you for watching :)

    Was so happy when I saw your greetings this morning,
    Like, calm in midst of storm : )
    And the "short film" didn't disappoint. I d watch a 20min. video if u made it; but I realize lot of work goes into producing them.
    Now the only problem is, I m craving that stir fry!😁

    What a great video! Thank you.
    QUESTION: How do you prepare the Bamboo shoot, shredded in water that is sold by the weight? that you showed at 1:16/11:30 mark? Please?

    Thank you so much for this beautiful, sweet, and peaceful video 🌸💜🌸
    I am wanting to harvest my own winter bamboo.. maybe? Can you do this in the US? I'm in Washington state. Also I'm wanting to get the most nutrition and minerals out of the bamboo. And I notice all the rinsing, boiling and rinsing again. You said that this is done in order for you to get out the toxins. Does this not take out all the good stuff as well? I hear that bamboo is high in silica do you know if this is true? Lastly, can you tell me what bamboo in a Asian store that I can use, that would be the least processed, and most nutrients? Thank you

    The Philippines has 7, 000+ islands, used to be lush and green , the soil fertile , monsoon 6 mos / year. Bamboos are everywhere but because of the profound LAZINESS and dumbness of the people, especially in Zamboanga del Norte where I was born, children are hungry , sickly, malnourished like my numerous siblings and I. I never knew bamboo shoots are edible. This laziness to work the land and loathing of the soil by Pilipinos are legacies by emperialists Spain.
    Your channel taught me the rich sources of food and edibles from the land not eaten nor cooked in my home country.

    Please do we have to cook the canned version like this too or simply cook?

    • @ThunThunChannel
      @ThunThunChannel  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Canned one can simply be cooked because it has already gone through the treatment process.

    Does it really need to be cooked that long? I’ve seen people cook it for 10 minutes.

      Yes but if you boil them long enough and several times, they are safe to eat 😁
