Hello to the beautyfull traveler.
Political sidenote for those who may be interested about the aftermath of WW2 in relation to Japan and Okinawa (Ryukyu Islands). The postsdam declaration called for the return of the 4 main islands and surrounding small islands to Japan. Okinawa was not included. Subsequently the Americans gave Okinawa unilaterally to Japan for geopoltical reasons. The local native inhabitants of Okinawa protested but could no do anything about it. Today Okinawa is mainly used for US military bases. There is an increasing number of local natives that are calling for independence. Of course with the current Japanese occupation it's not possible. If however there will be world war 3 then there is a chance that Okinawa will be liberated and rule will be returned to the native inhabitants.
