I went through with all comments here, and saw there are people do compare this Mazda CX9 with Kia Sorento. . . Mazda is well known for driving performance and this CX9 has luxury interior compare to Kia Sorento.
Checked one out when they hit the market, nice wagon for sure but when sitting behind the wheel in the ideal driving position my knees were resting on hard parts on the centre console and on the door which was a disappointing piece of design but it’s fair to say perhaps not everyone will have this issue. I’m 6’3” for reference.
6'2 here and had the same issue with the cx5 and therefore didn't buy it. Felt way to tight. I think Mazda needs to address this issue. Bought a Volkswagen Tiguan instead.
Awesome car, smart decision. We were one of the first batch of buyers to get the 2016 Azami here in Vic and it has been a fantastic car. Very luxurious, awesome to drive, extremely comfortable on long drives for all family members with plenty boot space if 2 back row seats folded down. Perfect? No car in the world is but overall you'll love it. Good luck with it.

Michael Chesnais My thought exactly. That's why I ended up buying a Kia Sorento, though I prefer the overall look of the Mazda CX-9. However, nothing beats the reliability of a Japanese car.
Terrible review. But typical for a car magazine that relies on advertising from car manufacturers. Was more like a sponsored infomercial on a lifestyle program than an impartial review. Was all about looks and feels but no mention of features and technology. "So, tell us about your your new car." "Ahh, it's red!"

Awesome car. We have had a cx9 for 10 months now and absolutely love it. Only gripe no car play and the MZD infotainment navigation is glitchy
The best in class, the best looking in the SUV seguement even compared to luxury ones.

今度のマイナーチェンジでフロントグリルがヘッドライトの下に来てCX-8のようになり、2列目がCX-8と同じ様に2人掛けも作り、テレビもフロントシートの後ろに2台設置したバージョンがあればいいですよね。あとシートの皮の色をもうちょっと変えた方がいいと思います。待ってます。マツダさん。
