Another outstanding video, you're natural at this GP. ... I'm sorry for the late comment. We just returned from Disney's Vero Beach - The Hawksbill Cottage.
Thanks for the comment! Sorry I got very delayed and with the summer and fall traveling rush I was working 6 days on and then 1 day off. Essentially burned me out, but am hoping to get this series continued here shortly again
Have you used the SSG E-Jet on X-plane? I’m doing my 190 type rating at the moment and have been using that for study during last few weeks. I’ve just tried FeelThere v3 on P3D 4.5 … and I’m finding it’s not as good with being realistic. The FMS is missing RTE page, no PERF T/O Pg 2 for Flap, I can’t arm LNAV on ground.. it engages LNAV… Thoughts? Have you tried other E-Jet sim products? I’m not interested is the gaming side… purely want a procedural trainer
Can't speak much on the SSG E-Jet. The reviews seem better than Feel There one for realism. Procedures and flows will work good with either as the switches are where they're supposed to be. The issue with Feel There is the mcdu functionality
@@GrumpyPilot thanks for quick reply! Yeah neither SSG or FeelThere perfect, and I appreciate they are consumer level products… but great study tools. Is the FeelThere good for Abnormals/Non-Normals? … can you shutdown an engine for example and it handles ok on one?
@@timbartlett I've tried emergencies with the FeelThere that are: single engine taxi, takeoffs, and landings and came up with the conclusion quickly that it does not. Basically need full power to single engine taxi the plane, and when it does move it just pulls heavy in the direction of the non-running engine. The only addon I've seen in P3D successfully work emergencies is PMDG for the 737, 747, 777
@@timbartlett also unless you're on the a220, a350, 787 this is one of the most technologically advanced jets in the industry. Can do a ton to make your life easy and it's very enjoyable to fly.
@@GrumpyPilot thanks mate! Coming across from the A350… but def enjoying the handling side of the E190! SSG is the same with non normals unfortunately … that’s why I started looking into FeelThere as I noticed the fire handle actually moved 😂. I know how good the PMDG 737 is … so was quietly hoping it was a good way to practice some sequences. In meantime I’ll continue to play around with FeelThere and compare it against SSG for realism… there’s some things that FeelThere does better and others SSG do better. Btw, If you think of any good training resources/links please feel free to send this way. Good work with the videos!
this is an awesome intro before I start ground school next month. Thank you!
I'm glad I can help! Next episode is very delayed from the summer flying.

Hello! Awesome videos! I really love the E-Jets and it would be great to see more episodes on the ERJ 170/175!
these vids are SO helpful! did you by chance make (or are making) any others after Episode 3 (MCDU)????
That was my plan, but I'm now flying the Airbus 320 so don't have much documentation anymore for the 170!

Where did you get the Envoy livery?
forum.inibuilds.com/files/file/207-american-eagle-compass-e175-v3-n218nn/
@@GrumpyPilot Gotcha, how did you get Envoy on the nose instead of Compass?
@@MCHIBullDog Sorry meant to send sooner, library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=217760&Cookie=1
