During my trip to Mexico, we visited Merida, the capital city of Yucatan stat for a few nights. On a side note, it's an amazing city, well worth visiting for the amazing food, great colonial heritage, and overall it's just so pleasant. I was with my wife, our baby, and my buddy Carlos and his wife and baby as well. So there were 4 adults, 2 babies. This Spanish colonial house in Merida was a beauty, nicely restored, and very well decorated. I especially loved the colorful tiles on the floor and the outside courtyard and swimming pool area.
We just had a short stay at this accommodation in Merida, but it was very fun and a very nice place.

I love this guy ,he is so simple and likes simple stuff just like me. Some Americans would be complaining about not having stainless steel appliances ,granite counter tops dishwasher ,walk in closets etc .
you can have all that in Merida, even marble, granite or quartz countertops, and evrything you want, all that is avaliable, but this is an Airbnb property.
No, it’s beautiful because is Spanish decor! Amazing tiles and natural beauty. 👍

Thank you for sharing Mark! My home in Venazuela was very similar to this home. One of the reasons for floors being tile is to keep bugs away, cockroaches to be exact. Atleast that was our reason. Sure make for easier cleaning.

Hello great video. i am new to your channel, At first I was just like boring just another video about Mexico but then you kept me going on wanting to see more i love that you do everything when showing something like when you show the sink you wash your hands ( beautiful sink by the way) when you show the water to drink you had a glass of water little thing but make a difference on videos. I can tell you had fun doing the video. Now I want to go to Marida thanks for the video and showing my country.

Yo vivi en Merida algunos años ,ahi nacio mi segunda hija, Mérida es "otro mundo " dentro de México ,se habla con muuchas palabras en maya , es normal , en la platica común ,me encanto vivir ahi ,con el calor de su gente y el calor del clima,por eso es necesario los techos muy altos ,el uso de la hamaca como cama normal, las hamacas en Mérida tienen un punto muy cerrado que se llama "punto cacahuate" ,muy cómodas, hay individual ,matrimonial y hasta "king size" ,es enorme pueden caber hasta 4 personas ,2 pequeños y 2 adultos . Todo el tiempo que vivimos alla dormimos en esas hermosas hamacas ,son comodisimas , y muy frescas .Los atardeceres de MÉRIDA, hermosísimos, sus playas Chicxulub,Puerto Progreso ,Celestún con sus flamencos , bueno me recordó esa época tan maravillosa de mi vida, y si, asi son las casas un Mérida y prácticamente en todo Yucatán , todas tienen sus hamaqueros para colgarlas , y a los bebes les gustan mucho. y a mi tambien , gracias por recordarme esos momentos tan bonitos.
