I know this video is a year old, but I wanted to say thanks for it. We are on our second trip to Merida, the first being in 2021. Your videos on Merida really opened our eyes to a bunch of new things to try. Y'all made our stay so much better. Thank you!
That is awesome to hear and means a lot to us! Getting comments like this reminds us exactly why we do what we do. We're glad we could help. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Im from Merida, Yucatan and waiting on my parole to be approved to be able to travel back and this video has made me excited to go back and try all the food I grew up eating ❤️😫
Absolutely love you guys.. Wife & I logged 156mi. hiking this year. We are both in recovery & being out there is a huge part of our sobriety as both of you are on days we are not out there & can escape by following you. We also decided to switch from photos to video in order to save memories. We have hiked some of the same trails as you & you have shown us a few for this year. Hope to bump into you out there & thanks for all you do
That is amazing, way to go y'all! 👏🏼 And a huge congrats on your sobriety! As non drinkers, we can attest that you can still have a heck of a lot of fun while sober.
It's 8 AM and you guys got me drooling all over my phone hahaha That food looks amazing! Mexican food is my favorite food. I love Sonoran style Mexican food, but that food looked even better! 😁
haha! There was so much good food! Mexican food is one of our top favorite foods as well so this was right up our alley! We have learned that there is so much regionality and diversity to the Mexican cuisine...really cool!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Yeah it really does have such a broad spectrum of flavors with it's regions. Baja style is so different from Sonora, Oaxaca, Veracruz etc. I love it all so much and the trying it, is the best part!
Just love seeing how others eat and what they eat. Egg, Turkey and Meatball what an interesting combo! Certainly you guys are dabbing in the spice of life there. Ok I have to tell I am pretty envious right now, pork belly taco! I guess I'll be smoking some pork belly this week. Cool how they make the marquesitas cone for you fresh. At first I thought that was chocolate they were spreading inside along with cheese and I was like, what?? So much variety in the food there.
It is super interesting to see the different types of food when traveling! Mérida's food was so different than other places we had visited in Mexico, so just seeing how much it varies across the country is awesome. Eggs and turkey are big there!

Tacos and Tortas! So good. I'm used to having breakfast burritos with eggs here in Phoenix, but it's interesting to see eggs used so often in the meals you tried. Nice food tour with a clear explanation of what each dish was with great plate presentation. Cheers! Pete in Arizona.
