    PXG makes the greatest clubs. The woods are VERY underrated. I always hear about the irons but never about the woods and I have the 0811 and absolutely love it! Add some weights to the head and it rips drives over 300.

    I'm either going with the Mizuno hot metal 923 pro's or PXG's. Both times I was fitted they suggested the Mizuno and I never asked to even hit them. PXG's are an insane value, though. Will get fit for PXG and decide later.

      @@embersgolf I'd get it, but have to pass on a new bag for now... I currently have a cart of 15 clubs from PXG of around 2500, I feel for the 5k plus. I'd get Mizuno like I always do, but I can get a full set plus a couple extras depending on conditions for more than a grand less with PXG currently. I never thought I'd say that. I also have to be able to pay for Golf afterwards. It's great to have new shinies, but you have to afford to use them after the fact... lol

    I too just got the 0311 Gen 5 driver for £199 here in the UK. Unfortunately it couldn't beat my old Cobra for carry or distance. Quite disappointing really as I love the look of PXG clubs. Bag looks great too.

    PXG is coming out with Gen6 so they are dropping prices of Gen4 and Gen5 inventory. I heard PXG bought a ton of materials to make inventory. Might have been a supply chain thing. Not sure if it would make business sense to hold onto older inventory. The problem is they kill the after market price for those who paid full price when Gen5 came out. They have depreciated by more than 50% in one year (think if you bought a new car and its value dropped in 1/2 in 1 year.. sux).

  • @87toyhighlux
    @87toyhighlux 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I like the video. I have PXG Gen 5's, fitted at the same store where you were fitted. I like the clubs, but I question my fitting. They showed me hitting a 7 iron 170 yards and a big reason I purchased the clubs, but I still normally hit it 150-160 yards, doesnt add up. Plus I play at the same altitude or a couple thousand feet higher than Denver. Would I buy them again, I dont think I would. My distances In the irons have improved a little, but the fairway woods haven't changed much from the Tour Edge Hot Launch 3 I used before.

    Since you got fitted for the clubs and they’re all custom to you and your swing at the time, does the clubs need to be evaluated and changed up if you ever get lessons and your swing changes?

    Classic sales. They are setting the value at 999 or 2999. That sets the expectations. Then, sure after than 10 or 20% more for extra features seems like a deal. The same applies to any price. Check out or $399 deal! But wait, for 150 more you will get xyz.

    No one should EVER have to buy "upgrades"... There not even usually upgrades. It's usually either a ego, bad fitter or you have unlimited money to burn if you ever pay anything additional for a fitted club. Some companies (think Tour Edge) have very few customized options. A company like Mizuno and Titleist have many. PXG has a little because they are newer, but would still have a like Shaft (weight/kick angle). To pay hundreds for a Golf shaft is ridiculous and no average, hack or any Golfer should feel for paying for a "upgrade" is actually a upgrade. Most shafts and grips you have to pay for with one company, you get for free with others. All the brands have a wide range for every Golfer. I understand preference. I like KBS for instance, but don't get hustled by someone taking advantage of you. I'm also certified in all things Golf related, I even went to College for it, so I'm not just making up stories...
