I get to see them this Thursday I'm soooooo stoked.
I just saw them last night in Detroit, and this was the third song they played. None of my friends knew it, but it was great. They're definitely not a hard rock show but the song's are great and Sameer's vocals put the team on his back, do. If anyone goes and sees them, bring drinks to the stage. They appreciate it.
Fuuu i l've listened to their YTG Cd for over a month on my way to school. And to hear this song gives me chills. Why are they so good! it almost makes me mad to hear such a good band for a change

The Jakes broke up and then re-formed as two separate bands- The Bolts, and Young The Giant. The Bolts just finished their debut album. They are excellent.

@JonnyRocketfingers7 "the jakes" was an acronym for the band member's names, but the drummer left to stay in college so they changed it.

@19matmoc Well now that i do the research, turns out that sean left in 2008 as their drummer and ehson left in 2009 as keyboards, so we are both right!

I hate to sound like that asshole who says they knew them before anyone else, but oh man, I remember when there were only 5 of us watching them perform this song.
It's nice to know that bands care about their fans. I've seen them nearly 6 or 7 times and they ALWAYS say hello and ask about our grades, haha.

I love this song and this group, but they make me feel like a loser because I havnt done really anything with their life, I'm a freshmen in hs, and when they were my age they were doing battle of the bands and stuff.... Ugh I suck.
Same people from the jakes are in ytg just the guy at the end of this song that says hey isnt and hes not a good singer same band different name stop crying "young the giants" first cd was amazing and everything song is deeper than anything they wrote as the jakes

They changed lineup, with a lot of people dismembering from the band. After they signed to Roadrunner Records they changed their name.
