I love music so much and for me music has been deteriorating until...I found The Jakes AKA young the giant. This group makes me feel like the world is better than it really is. They bring so much joy to my life. The music they make fills me with so much happiness. Thank you guys for giving me goosebumps every time I listen to your music. Please continue to make music at least until I die.
I sort of do too. I like the guitar and the added vocals in the back, but I prefer how Sameer sings it in the Ytg version...Its a litte too boy band-y sounding how he sings it in this one. They've matured in their sound, just as Angie said. But theres something I like about this album as well.
+James Root his voice has for sure changed between the two songs :3 I think his voice is a little more mature in the YtG version, but i love how his voice sounds in sycamore street. happy you know about both versions compared to alot of YtG fans

Why is this better than YtG's whole discography? More raw, more emotion, & music benefits from imperfections. Everything released now is hurt by overproduction and sounds hollow in comparison.
I disagree about this being better than their whole discography but I do sometimes with they'd make a song like Schizophrenia again. I will say, though, Sameer's voice got way better
