Abby Clish I think you can find them still in stock on other sites, I got the sure grip fame skates in white but they ended up being $100 more after taxes and shipping :( but they have them in every size!

Worst part is, my youngest has been putting in bearings and changing wheels, laces, and stops since she was around 3....could strip a skate (from laces down to plate off with mounting bolts and toe stop washers on the table) by the time she was 5...STILL insists I do EVERYTHING for her. She's 15 now. Teens! UGH! LOL
I loved how they turned out ! I think it would look super cute if you guys would paint light lavender flowers and maybe some blue or red roses 🌹 on the sides of the boot for more extra cute added detail! Similar to the roses on your skirt that she borrowed 😂 love the video as always Karen 🥕🧡
Yellow and Purple are complimentary colours, basically neutralising each other, that's why they came out so dark to begin with before the white base coat. These came out amazing though! I was considering getting the Moxi Panthers as my first skates, so it's good to know i can change the colour if i really want to later down the line.
Why not just use suede dye, its the same amount of money and it lasts forever, my pool blues are midnight blue and they have been dyed for 3 years with no problems, it’s exactly like it was factory died, i used Angelus suede dye, and u dont need any finishing coats, if anything I recommend a spray on dirt and water protection coat made for shoes for the suede itself, most oil paints and their thinners are toxic
I'm doing suede dying for skates when covid is over just because I don't think I want to be sending stuff around just to be safe. I have my first pair to play with during quarantine hopefully I can swatches done so people can see the color. Oh and I'm going to do custom glitter. I'm setting up to hopefully just do already worn boots but starting with used ones I buy so I'm not ruining someone's skates of the color isn't 1000% perfect.

I’ve heard that Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work really good on suede, so I don’t know if it really works but with cleaning my Candi Girls, I might use it 😅

Oil paints are very chemically that’s why artists use a special primer on their canvas before using the paints. So the oil paints are slowly going to eat at the skate and ruin them
There is actually... suede dye which u can us to just dye you skates and it will look professional and clean like it was factory died, colors can mix though so u would have to be smart about what color u already have and what color u want, the strawberries and the floss skates would be the easiest since they are so light. Always try and get a hold of the moxie m cut outs to test out a patch, but the suede absorbs the dye really well and its not super expensive either. I dyed my pool blues into a deep dark blue color, look into Angelus suede dye, I dont really recommend using stuff that isn’t made for suede just because i feel like it wont last as long and the quality isn’t as nice.... also oil paints and paint thinners like terpenoids are normally toxic and if the suede absorbs that and if it comes out when it absorbs the sweat from your feet that’s probably bad, you dont want that near your skin just in case, in all my oil painting classes the professors always recommend gloves and to wash hands off properly before eating im not sure if i trust paint thinner to be absorbed into something that will be on feet for a long time especially since skin is absorbent (if it can such up lotion it can suck up traces of paint thinner left in your boot) and sweat from you foot will rehydrate that stuff, they already painted their skates, but this is for people interested in dying their skates who haven’t done it yet, there are better ways to dye them. If anything certain oil paints are more expensive than getting suede dye

Oil paints on normal paintings and canvases take FOREVER to dry many oil painting take months to dry

You would want to get a lighter colored skate unless you don’t mind having to paint them white first.

They would not ! I would recommend leather acrylic paint , I’ve painted on my impalas with those and they’re really good 👍
