As a new Tableau learner I found this is the best channel for learning. Though I have 12 yrs of industry experience I m novice in Tableau .But somehow I was looking for the tutorial which will neither be too basic nor be to complex . Finally I am really glad I have found these videos. Thank you so much for this great help.
I'm glad this series s popular with students. I've seen it reproduced many times and they are providing proper credit in most cases. Thanks for the comment!
Hey Anthony...Nice presentation man... I came across the video and subscribed your channel within a minute ! Great work man...I am doing my 1st Tableau project on this case! kindly make 3rd part as well.
Hey Anthony, Excellent tutorial and one of best channel for learning. Most satisfying dashboard with huge learning’s. Thank you for teaching this in a very detailed manner.
I was also wondering how should I update the data automatically? The Web Link Connector gives me an error. While google sheets file is too large for tableau. In a fix, require assistance. Thanks Anthony.

@@AnthonySmoak ,oh man the 3rd vid was everything I could ever ask for. very informative and professional content/presentation. From San Francisco California I send my respect and appreciation
Good observation. Sets were the first option I tried but I couldn't hold constant the top 10 countries by confirmed cases on my max day. If I was designing this dashboard for a client I would use ETL to make the data work for my purposes.
Well yes, using sets would limit the usage of pages option and limit the dynamic aspect in the horizontal bars ... but if publishing on the server with live data .. that could be a way out !!
@@AnthonySmoak I tried another thing.. creating three calculated fields and storing day of today, month of today and year of today in them respectively. Then I used these fields in filter along with MAKEDATE formula. Works as a charm !! Let me know if this approach is good enough.. And Yes , ETL is always a way, the fun is to do it in Tableau . Agree ??

💡To avoid hardcoding the date, you can use:
SUM ( IF Date = {MAX (Date)} AND... )
The key here is those braces: { }
Can you write the full expression please?
Fantastic suggestion! I gave you a shout-out in the third video. It should be appearing this week.
@@AnthonySmoak Great! Thank you.
magnfique, ça marche très bien, merci beacoup

Hey there, You can use sets to filter the Top 10 countries/regions and make it more dynamic and updated on a daily basis...
