To sum it up in one word, storytelling. That is what makes movies, comedians, artists, speakers and professional wrestlers (WWE/AEW)

The second story can be referred to as why the best movies are the ones that focus on the main character OR a small group of characters.
The feeling is more real and personal.

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. Forgive more (for you), be grateful for even the smallest things (we have it way better than someone else), choose love over ego, choose humility over ego (humility is strength), and finally, invest into new skills so that your future self will thank you. Our lives will change forever the more we grow. Be thankful for the challenges for we know something greater is coming. Love you always - Nathalie ✨❤️

"I don't care about how many homes you've sold or how many families you've helped, tell me about the one you remember" 🔑 point.

Tell specific stories of success, it's good there are so many, fine, take them one at a time. It gets the attention of the audience or listener

I have to type this somewhere and vent. This video brought up a memory that's about 14 years old.
I worked in a copy and print center for Staples at the time and one night a family came in about 5 minutes before we closed. Some of these people were crying and some were in hysterics but all in all the group looked emotionally crushed. This woman, Amanda, was holding a box that looked like the ones that we gave our customers for their orders but it wasn't one of ours. I greeted and asked what I could do for them and this woman told me that they needed some brochures made up and asked if I could help redesign them a little. We were about to close so typically I wouldn't be able to work on these documents with the client but considering how desperate they looked I inquired what the brochures were for so that I could gauge whether I could help them swiftly enough or not. The woman opened the box and inside were brochures for a funeral that was being held for her 1 year old. The brochures were sloppily cut and the graphics and information were lazily strewn about. It was at that time I was informed that the funeral was the next afternoon. I'm a father now so the thought of that brings strong, mixed emotions but even at that age I knew I had to help.
I invited the family to come behind the counter to the computer that I worked at, I took the flash drive, and pulled up the file. From there I started rearranging the graphics and text, all the while asking where they would like things and what they'd like added. We replaced some of the clipart with actual images of angels and hearts, things like that. They asked roughly how much it was going to be. I wouldn't have charged them but was afraid I'd get fired so I waved the design fee and I asked them how much they had paid for the ones they had. They said $50 which we would have charged about $125 for at the time so I told them, "$50 it is". I let them know I still had a bit more work to do but I was opening in the morning and could finish them as soon as I opened which was several hours before the funeral. I could see a wave of relief wash over then as they smiled. Amanda hugged and thanked me. The next day they picked up their order which they were very pleased with.
My manager came over and saw the order before they picked it up and asked me what the deal was with the price. I showed him the order and told them what had happened. I apologized to him and said I couldn't bring myself to turn away people who were in need like that. He nodded and understood. He didn't reprimand me or anything like that and I could tell he, on some level, empathized for my decision but a couple days later I was informed that I would be returning to the basic retail position that I held before. I wasn't allowed back to our copy and print center after that.
The point of this was to vent but I think it helps illustrate Simon's point... I don't know.

As in how a chef knows the secrets to the ingredients for a dish, so that’s how one has to know the rules one has set oneself for. That’s how it goes the same way for our subconscious, what we feed it becomes our reality.

How can anyone find any brutal war just a stastical comparison?!! You've told this story before, and with all due respect, I think it's utterly unfair to compare these two unparalleled stories!

Life's unfair. That's the key. Its a war, there is an expectation of people losing lives in a War, brutal or not. But for one personal story about an 18yr old who now will never know what her future might have been, that's the point he is trying to make.

Simon and dear comment makers here : you talk about oppressive regime that is invading a European country here in Europe. And 5000 dead people. Make your research and think again okay???? Who is oppressing who? I am against war and against people dying. Don’t be stupid Simon, do your research before talking geopolitics. Have a nice day

Yes, because now in Ukraine we have more than 20 000 died only between civilians. But as a fact - yes it is a fact, we have a lot of people died because of Russia invasion.
