A couple of very cool trades for sure. All those peripherals were weird and when we talked about a trade I knew I needed them in the NES collection. The Video Blaster is easily my favorite of the bunch though! Thanks for checking the trades out with me dude! 🤙🏻

Honestly this shop is like the definition of not judging a book by the cover. It looks like a wreck outside and inside it’s completely disorganized but the dude has gem after gem every time I have ever made a trip there. Stoked to get this one in the NES set! 🤙🏻

It’s definitely different than any other soccer game I have ever played or seen. Super cool of Kiwi to send that one my way. Stoked to have it in the NES set. Honestly super cool to have made all these trades with the fellas. The Honey Butter chips were ridiculously good! The guitar pic is super freaking cool that Mari sent along. That’s what they should have called that gun I think! 🤣

Go figure that TC would like a game called Wet. 🤣 Seriously though it’s one I had always figured I would find on the cheap at the thrift and just never did. Cool to get it in a trade. This soccer game is unlike any other one I have ever played. It takes a little get II g used to but it’s pretty darn cool. I believe it was the final game I needed for my TECMO subset as well. 👌🏼 Definitely some quirky peripherals in the final trade. Super cool all around. The flight stick looks a lot like the Zoomer brand but it’s not quite the same. Both he and I looked into it and couldn’t figure out what it actually is…the Camerica Video Blaster was the coolest piece of the trade for me though. Happy New Year dude! 🍻🤙🏻

It’s definitely one that has been on a lot of PS3 hidden gem lists. I always figured I would find it at a thrift store and then when the resell industry took off it never happened. 🤷‍♂️ Oh well it’s here now and I am gonna try to get time to play it here in 2025. 9 percent beer means one and done. 🤣 Cheers! 🍻

I started off that generation with a PS2 and while I still love that system the Xbox was just so edgy and fresh. All the games they were releasing that were exclusives where I like anything else on PS2. It’s too bad Microsoft is so vanilla now. They have lost what made Them special. 🤷‍♂️

Thomas has really had me flabbergasted with the items he has sent along to me. Incredibly thoughtful and generous. 🙏🏻 He has really sent me some crazy games for the NES. The unlicensed games are such a big part of the history of the NES library too. I love getting a chance to check them out. Super cool trade from Mark here too. When Shadow reached out about a trade I thought all these oddball peripherals were awesome additions to the Nintendo collection. The flight stick had us both stumped as to what it actually is. Looks a lot like the Zoomer but slightly different so not exactly sure…The Camerica blaster was my favorite one though for sure. Hope you had a great weekend brother and are doing well. I really enjoyed the flavor of this IPA. It was definitely different than any of the IPA’s I have ever had here in the states. 🍻 Kiwi really has sent some serious bangers my way for the NES collection. Such a generous dude. 🙏🏻 The RC is an awesome crew of folks. We thought the same thing about the Zoomer but this one is slightly different than anything we pulled up on the internet. Maybe it’s a knock off. 🤷‍♂️

Shadowstine and I both thought the same thing with the Zoomer controller but everything both of us came up with this one looks slightly different. So not really sure. Still super cool though. Always a blast trading with the community. Thanks David!

The RC is a great group of folks! Am in a few discord groups but not as active in the other groups as I should be. I am pretty bad with most social media too to be honest. I haven’t given it a go yet but have not heard anyone say anything bad about Terraria. Not the strongest finish to VGM run but happy to have these two games on my collection. 🤙🏻

I totally understand why some choose not to collect video games anymore with the price increases. If we are being realistic though I know that I will never have enough time in my existence to play all these games. To put that into perspective I have recently been playing Horizon Forbidden West. I have sunk 62 hours into the game and according to the game stats I am only 37% complete. Which means I will likely have 150 + hours into the game before I complete it…I am loving the game though and it’s gotten the wheels turning a little on the size and scale of what I have in my collection. 🤷‍♂️ That being said, folks should collect what makes them happy and as long as they are living within there means and not hurting there family finances than go for it and don’t worry about what other people spend there money on. I have made the same point before about social media and sharing pickups/collections though. We put ourselves out there and should figure criticism will come with the territory. But that’s what rebuttals videos like this are for. 🤣

@DrinkGameswithJosh Yeah I was the same with my game habits and similar thinking a while back. I love classic games but the majority of what I was playing solo was current gen. When playing with friends in the game room it's usually on the arcades. That left me with a lot of shelf padding. I actually still have everything from N64 and newer and am STILL selling off my order games. They do not sell as quickly as I'd like! 😁👍

Both Ready Player One and Pixels were both fun films with so many Easter eggs and nods to classic retro gaming. I agree with you about Pixels. Not many folks talk about it and the cast was amazing!

Haha! To be truthful the gameroom is starting to get a little full. 🤣 I do shuffle some things in and out here and there though so that helps. I have been doing a lot of thinking regarding the collection so who knows what will happen in 2025. 🤷‍♂️

I had Gun already on 360 and it’s definitely a cool game. I traded this copy off to another friend. It’s hard to go back to any westerns for me after RDR though. Such a perfect game. Even though it’s easy to see where they got inspiration from.

I definitely like the fact that they do Switch games in this box. It’s such a great system. I honestly can see why so many people have it as their favorite system. The dual purpose makes it such a great system and there is so much to choose from on the system. The Genesis game here though was the turd filler in the box for sure. 🤣

It’s definitely a quick up and play arcade style game. Not worth the price of a n NES cart but well worth playing. Cheers gull! 🍻

Oh man…I don’t know if I can even force myself to play 10 more minutes of the Barbie game for an episode. 🤣 They have mixed up the switch games nicely over the past couple of boxes. Been enjoying getting those even if I would love to see some more NES or N64 come out of this box. All in all though the service is delivering some great games and value so I am digging it. 🍻

That is exactly my thoughts too. 🤣 If does have a slightly different method with how the snowballs roll and take out the enemies but it’s hard not to see how similiar they are. It’s a lot of fun but nowhere near worth the price of the cart on the NES. 😉
