It reminds me a lot of Bubble Bobble as well. It is a classic Arcade title though and they always ripped one another off. 🤣 It was definitely appropriate for the season I think. Appreciate you dude! 🤙🏻 Merry Christmas. 🎄
@@raza_is_retro The two games are 4 years apart (which in Arcade terms is a long time, technologically!) Personally, they both have their unique charm, but cannot be compared directly. Bubble Bobble is a WAY deeper game... by miles; but Snow Bros is so fresh, fun, good sounding, and plays so well... Definitely different games (despite sharing a similar platform type element). I've loved both games (for a long time) but still maintain that Bubble Bobble is the superior game. My decision come from decades of experience.
It’s fun arcade action for sure. Well worth a spin. I would emulate it if possible since it’s a little pricy for an original NES cart. It’s probably on a capcom collection somewhere too. Merry Christmas dude.🎄
Man you've introduced me to so many games that I've never heard of and they all look like fun and I've even tried a few through emulation and really enjoyed them. That's why I love and appreciate this series so much!
I try to mostly keep this series to pick up and play games. They need to be short and fun and I have tried to pick them like that. Plus it feels like the older 8 & 16 bit systems don’t have nearly as much flicker on the CRT filming this way. You have definitely stuck with me as much and probably more than anyone with this series. Always appreciate that support and friendship brother! 🍻🤙🏻 Merry Christmas. 🎄
I bet you would definitely like this brew if you enjoy stouts and cinnamon. It was tasty and pretty strong too. Snow Bros felt appropriate for the incoming season and it’s a fun pick up and play arcade style. Perfect for CRT Saturdays! Cheers MJ! 🍻 Merry Christmas dude! 🎄
The 80’s definitely had a trend of Bros and Super in video games. 😂 I want to try and do this series a little more regularly like I used too. Not sure if it will be weekly but would like to get it in maybe twice a month. These videos don’t really get views to be honest but it’s fun to share with the channel regulars. My biggest problem lately has been finding motivation to do TH-cam videos…I enjoy the community aspect but it’s begun to feel like a slog with spending time editing and making decent videos. 🤷🏼♂️ Hope you are doing well my friend and are having a great holiday season! 🎄🍻
Thanks dude! This was a more recent pickup that I hadn’t even had time to really show off. Super fun pick up and play game that felt like a good fit for one of these videos. Cheers buddy! 🍻 Merry Christmas. 🎄
Great looking beer. I'm sure you know that if you clear all enemies "at once" or with one snowball you get high scoring cards drop from the top of the screen (you did it on Floor 02, but looked like you did not do it on purpose). The Arcade port is very very good though! Never played the NES version, but it's very faithful to the original (gameplay wise). That intro though! Wow! Amazing that they did that... pretty cool but certainly unnecessary. The inter-level "slot machine" bonus is also "interesting"! Not sure offhand how many levels there are myself, but (in the Arcade version) I can reliably get to stage 18 ~ 20. Fun video as usual. Cheers.
I was figuring it out a bit as I went along but I did finally understand that after it happened a few times. 🤣 I have played the arcade port only once and that was a long time ago. They did pretty well for the NES I think. Obviously not as nice looking but plays well. They definitely tried to add a big story intro though to set the tone for the kids back on the day. Always appreciate you watching and dropping a great comment like this dude. Merry Christmas to you! 🎄🎅
@DrinkGameswithJosh Lovely game that needs lots of play time! Very rewarding once playing for score. Have a grest Xmas yourself! See you in the new year!
Judging by the comment it sounds like i should of heard of this game but never have this is the first ive hear or seen of it and by the large introduction i was expecting a Zelda II type game - Seems like some fun for a half hour or so though! Looking forward to the next one
It’s is really funny that they made such an extravagant backstory for this style of arcade game honestly. You would expect a grand adventure game for sure. 🤣 Glad to have been able to show you a new game! It’s worth playing for a little while for some pick up and play fun. 🤙🏻 Merry Christmas dude! 🎄
I have only played it once or twice in the arcade but from what I remember it was definitely better looking and more responsive. I think this one is fun on the NES but it’s nowhere near worth the price unless you are a fool like me chasing a set. 🤣
Yes it was on the NES. In PAL regions it was called Rainbow Islands: Bubble Bobble 2. Over here they made them two separate game releases. Merry Christmas dude! 🎄🍻
Ah yes Snow bros a proper classic and good time to share this with winter season going on. This one always reminded me of bubble bobble 😊

@arcadesunday4592 ah okay and yeah snow bros does seem to have its own charm 😀✌️
My buddy has been telling me to try this one I'll have to give it a go 🍻

Snow Bros for the Win.
Always some solid arcade style fun with this one. Hope you had a great weekend David. And Merry Christmas to you. 🎄

The Bros. I popular Trope from the 80/90's. LOL. Great that you decided to bring the CRT Saturdays back.

Love the music in this game!
It’s definitely fun! I was bepopping along with it a myself. 🤣
Looks pretty fun and a solid nes title great music as well. Hope all is good my brother
It’s worth a spin but not worth the NES cart price…😆 All is good here buddy. Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎄🎅
Great video, heavy hitter title, was neat to see some game play of this game.

I love snow brothers. It’s best on the actual arcade though.

Did the NES get RAINBOW ISLANDS? I know there was a PC Engine and GAMEBOY Color one.
Yes it was on the NES. In PAL regions it was called Rainbow Islands: Bubble Bobble 2. Over here they made them two separate game releases. Merry Christmas dude! 🎄🍻
