​@@Mdntech3000also, with ignite prolif you really want to use the transfigured gem, since the regular one explodes corpses and messes up with proliferation

@@Mdntech3000 ah i should have paid more attention on pob. i saw the total dps went up and assumed it had bumped up the main hit and by extension the ignite. it bumps my main hit up alot but my ignite is no where near as strong as yours. thanks for the reply.

I honestly don’t know. It’s def very strong though - don’t think I’ll achieve it in SSF but it is what it is.

I’m in SSF but I think I might have one in stash. That just leaves mana leech…but I’m at the point that I might just use lifetap and drop a bit of damage. I’ll have to see but thanks for the info - good looks!

For my ground slam I keep them all at lvl 1 and lvl 20 for the ones I self cast. Save yourself mana keeping them at lvl one

Yea I’ve been saying it since league start but they a fantastic job with melee. My only complaint is that dealing with mana is sad lol

@@mysterysoup5110 endurance charges and leech recovery speed go a very long way. And if you're doing extra ripy content you can change flesh and stone to be "you take 10% less dmg" so with the charges that's a -34% multiplier on top of your 80%+ resistances and armor.

Yea slayer is very underrated in how tanky it can get. Also remember I’m not suppressed cap so it can get even better. Flesh and stone is also very underrated (I don’t know why more people don’t use it) as the other poster said.

Slayer version is really damn good. People are underrating it heavily.

I tried them last league and didn't like them. For Axe there are two methods I use, with the 2nd method yielding better (and much more affordable) results. Step 1: Essence of Contempt Spam (Deafening or whatever you have) until you hit hybrid phys / accuracry. Tier 5 or higher will do. Step 2: (If only open prefix and no suffixes open) craft %phys (exalted orb) and be done with it. Result: With this above you'll have a 650 PDPS Vaal Axe (with a tier 6 phys / acc mod). This can take care of you until crafting a better axe. Moving towards your 2nd or GG Axe. You can do the same method as above, essence of contempt spamming until you hit hybrid phy / acc and an open prefix. This time you have open suffixes. You can multi mod %phy and now attack speed if you want. This give you around a 770 PDPS axe, which can clear a bunch of content in the game, pretty much all of it. The second is my preferred method, where you spam Harvest reforge phys on a rare axe. Do this in combination with harvest "reforge more likely to roll same modifiers". Do this until you hit a good combination of again, flat added phys and hybrid phys / acc (you don't want %phy unless its tier 1). Hopefully you hit a higher hybrid roll and flat added roll with open prefix. Lock prefixes and unveiled orb, if you unveil prefix you'll get a %phy roll with impale / bleed / blind hopefully. Impale is best IMO, bleed probably better for other slam skills though. If unveil suffix hope you can restart at the step before this until you unveil prefix. On successful unveil you'll pray you have an open suffix. Lock prefix again then reforge speed on harvest until tier 2> attack speed roll. You're done unless you have a open suffix (or two). Craft endurance charge damage mod. If another open suffix slam Warlord Exalted Orb I believe.

Try practicing in Craft of exile, it'll help a lot understand the process. On the Harvest note, the reason I prefer that is because I've had huge success this league with it and farming Harvest juice is so much easier than farming essences imo.

@@HasXXXInCrocs Yea the essences are really hard to hit, I actually for a while now been relying purely on Harvest. It's just so good and we're able to get way more craft in enabling us to have a higher chance to get a hit.

You don’t get the buff when auto exerting war cries.

There’s really no reason, lower mana cost but with invest they only cost like 3 life I think for me.

Vulnerability is very important. It gets automatically triggered by battlemages cry - auto exertion. It provides a big damage boost, bleed chance as well as “aggravate” chance with quality to Vulnerability, which makes the enemy count as moving giving a bunch of weapons of more damage for us.

No war cry buff if you use auto exert. There are some buffs we don’t care about so we don’t lose anything really. The main purpose to overexertion damage and exploding spikes. People probably don’t use the helmet because it drops from Uber shaper and maybe it’s expensive? I’m not sure I’m in SSF

Yes it does but I don’t recommend auto exerting it if you’re a slayer / chieftain. Better to self warcry with second wind which will give huge uptime in double damage. If berseker than by all means auto exert it.

I played cheiftain, fire convert warcry etc, alot of the single target was coming from lining up buffs for one big ignite. Constant intimidating cry up time not super necessary possibly. I was leaning into scaling buff effect because of the ascendancy node and infernal so was manually doing infernal and seismic for buffs, and autod intimidating. It seemed a pragmatic compromise. Keep seismic all time hit infernal on hard targets auto the rest, idk ymmv.

I honestly think earthshatter is superior in every way. Earthshatter is a “combo” skill that needs you to warcry to explode the spikes the Earthshatter shoot out. Ground slam is simpler as you just spam it tbh.

@@Mdntech3000 lol good to know, I play on console where things are going much slower to you not have a gg axe is more realist for most of us atleast, impossible to not have a wasted stat or two let alone the lack of six links this league. But the damage is still sick!

Have to invest in attack speed. Have a bit of attack speed on weapon, get hatchet master anoint, frenzy charges from blood rage / medium cluster jewel, attack speed from large cluster jewel. You can swap out melee phys / pulverize as well to make it faster if you want.

Yea you can just put ground spam of es in instead of earthshatter and nothing changes lol, still pretty much the same thing.

You could but I don’t mind pressing them every now and then. I know most people would automate these instead.

I think slams are stronger and it’s not close. I also don’t enjoy boneshatter as a skill.

Just wanted to let you know that I went with a version of your build and loving it. Haven't had that much fun in Poe since a long time. Btw, i realized that those +2 to skill gems on the 2h are very strong now, might end up the best weapons? Keep up the good work

No it doesn’t, it just helps mapping to explode spikes more often.

It’s to exert spikes. I explain in the video.

Battle mage's exerts cast a linked spell when it hits with it's exerted attacks, linked with vulnerability it curses on hit.

Also make sure guys to get some quality on vulnerability for more damage from aggravate.

I would switch when your get auto exert and link generals cry plus another warcry to it.

Cleavers are SO good in BB…i alway make my best bro a cleaver user..normally also my player insert bro as well 😂
