The obvious albums that come to mind: Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed Paul McCartney - McCartney The Who - The Who Sell out Supertramp - Breakfast in America BTW, Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill has bananas on the cover... Ok, I'll add 2 that probably not many people would know about: BAP - Zwesche Salzjebäck Un Bier (pretzels on the cover), great album but they sing in Kolsch, a local Greman dialect from Cologne. This on is from 1984 Not easy to find but I see at least some tracks are available on YT Feet - What's Inside is More Than Just Ham (with fries, eggs on the plate and a full piece of meat on the fork) Pretty British indie pop/rock from 2019 easy to stream, it's even on YT I might able to find another one but I'll have to go dig in the crates...

love the picks, per usual. my picks are as follow - the last few are not underrated but they are great. *Brides of Funkenstein - Never Buy Texas From a Cowboy *Mutiny - Mutiny on the Mamaship (P-Funk people acrimoniously leave the Mothership and make a genuinely awesome album - pretty sure that never happened before or after.) *Roxy Music - Manifesto (never understood the general dislike towards this one. It's not Avalon, but it's also damn good. *Ry Cooder - Bop Til You Drop (probably my fav Cooder full-length) *Bowie - Lodger (fav of the "berlin trilogy") *Marianne Faithfull - Broken English

Generally speaking, I'm not really into US rock but more into UK post-punk, especially from that period, so if I had to name albums from 1979, it would be: - Magazine - Secondhand Daylight - Simple Minds - Real To Real Cacophony - Japan - Quiet Life - Bill Nelson's Red Noise - Sound On Sound - XTC - Drums & Wires - The Stranglers - The Raven - The Jam - Setting Sons - Skids - Days In Europa - Buzzcocks - A Different Kind Of Tension - Ian Dury & The Blockheads - Do It Yourself

Hey, Danger. I'm leaning on Rust Never Sleeps being underrated and I'm glad that record was on the list. I think if you ask anyone, who digs Neil, what their favorite Neil record is, no one will ever say Rust Never Sleeps. Even I rarely think of this one - as much as I like it - and I've been a Neil head for much of my life. If you're not a follower you choose Harvest. If you are, you choose Tonight's the Night or On The Beach. I'm surprised you said it charted at #8. It wouldn't have surprised me if you said it charted at #79. Hey, Hey, My, My kept this one from sinking. *I love Thrasher and Pocahontas. I also thought is was interesting you mentioned Comes a Time. I love this one (and I think it's underrated as well). Our wedding song was Comes a Time. Btw, I knew April Wine was was going to be in there, lol. I guess didn't have to be Nostradamus to see that coming. No judgement here, though. Keep it rolling.

I seem to be getting some requests for a Festival video, so I'll make it happen. Thanks for pushing me on this! 🤘😁

If you want to hear an even a better presentation of Hear My Dear album, check out the deluxe cd. The extra tracks are really good and it’s even more funkier grooves.

How about Little Feat live album "Waiting For Columbus". "Here My Dear" is really good, it is my favorite Marvin Gaye album.

I still have yet to hear Waiting For Columbus, but I've heard it's great from many people. Thanks for the comment! 🤘😁

That’s going to be one hell of an experience seeing all those legends. Yeah Thee Sacred Souls are good. Likewise I need to get round to buying that first album. Daptone is one of my favourite current labels. Enjoy the festival Craig - I’m sure you will !

I have been listening to Little Feat first album a lot lately ..I bought it brand new in 2009 MOFI reissue . It sounds awesome .If you can find one that is not too expensive ,get it ..I use to think Sailn Shoes was the best album but I like this one beter ..I have a near mint MOFI of that also and they have gotten very high in price ..

MoFI stuff is well outside of both my hearing ability and price range, sadly. But yeah, the debut remains the Gold Standard as far as I'm concerned.🤘😁

For all of us who can't make it, Enjoy! This is a pretty good lineup. Now, it's just one day, seems that there are going to be tough choices to be made

Just got the schedule. It's pretty decent, and given the choice between live legends and "next generation"-tribute groups, I'll always go with the former. Cheers! 🤘😁
