Better. Manufacturers needs to stop ruining their products with glue and emblems. Just place them on the grill. No decals, emblems, glue. Most of us don't care for all the emblems.

What part number do you have for the socket?

Must not be in a rust belt State lol. On My second Week doing my M37X passenger side hub bearing assembly. That bih ain't came off yet. Bought To Pulleys and been hammering it lol. Nothing!

I have the same car, and I'm interested in doing the same thing. I see that this video is a couple years old. Any updates with how these spacers are holding up (if you still have this SUV)? Did any issues happen with suspension or rubbing?

I've noticed on my 2015 LML, when I go and thread on a new fuel filter, the fuel filter does not just thread on easy. I feel like I have to push up on the filter while simultaneously threading it on. Once its starts it threads on no problem and I have checked closely the fuel filter housing is not crossed threaded. I have wondered since I have owned the truck if this is normal, never had a problem with it leaking or a hard start. Anyone else?

My 2009 3500HD Duramax has 205,000 miles… it’s run 30psi oil pressure from the day I took delivery. AMSOIL 15W-40 Signature oil and AMSOIL filter. Change oil at 10k or 1 year… whichever comes first.

I’ve always taken my truck into the Goodwrench guys that I’ve known for years. This week (10/8/24), I went in for oil change and filter (my own AMSOIL 15W-40 and AMSOIL filter), new batteries and fuel filter. Dealership under new owner… all “old” mechanics and service managers gone. No DELCO batteries in stock. No GM fuel filter in stock. Went to different GM dealership. Got batteries, fuel filter, etc.. $400 for parts, $350 for labor. Labor rates now $160 an hour… and that’s in Wyoming, where they pay mechanics $20 an hour. I’m close to 80, but still decent enough shape to care for my livestock AND my 1984 K2500 6.2 diesel. Might have to start working on my 3500HD Duramax now too. I’ve always changed the fuel filter, and Allison spin-on with each oil change…. Annually or 10,000 miles. Pull oil sample for lab analysis every oil change… never a problem noted. 205,000 miles now. Bone stock except for delete which bumped my highway mpg to 25.

Thanks a million. My problem was as simple as reconnecting tubing that slipped off it's connector, but I figured it out and saved a lot of trouble by watching this vid.

Your video is great! I also have a 2012 (built in 2011) Silverado 1500 Ext Cab. I bought it used, and got two keys but those keys ONLY work for the ignition switch, the door lock must require a different key, as the ignition key does not unlock or lock the door handle? Additionally the Tailgate has the same issue and must have had a second key (or the ignition switch may have been changed at some point?) Needless to say, the remotes I have let me lock and unlock the door handle (only the driver's door has a lock cylinder - the passenger side has no key cylinder) My desire is to purchase and replace the driver's door cylinder with key kit, and go through the process of accessing the door handle as you did here and swap over the lock cylinder. You very good video will help tremendously. As to the tailgate lock, I ordered the "BOLT" Gm Tailgate Handle 5922987 which lets me use the ignition key for that lock cylinder (with BOLT's proprietary keying method). I love my 2012 it has 124K and looks new. I ordered a Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover today and the BOLT handle so I can secure the bed when needed. Thanks again -- Richard in KY

When Installing the Key, how flesh is it with the axle nut? or Is it stick out pass axle nut.

Had my 2016 GMC 2500 shut down on me on the highway. Dash said to change fuel filter . I watched a few videos on here and changed my filter with no problem but when trying to start it back up it wouldn’t start . I primed the fuel pump before starting. I need help and any comments are appreciated.

This man using a torque wrench when I just giver a couple ugga duggas on my 20 year old Sinfinity. I need 50k out this old girl, nothing I am fixing is likely to fail from over torqueing.

Thanks for not showing how you got the inner C-clip out. I’ve tried several different pliers and couldn’t get it out. Local O’Rieleys didn’t have anything to help😊

I have a 2004, AWD, the front driver wheel has made a funny noise since I bought it new. I have around 170K on it now, still makes the same noise, hasn't gotten any worse or better. I had an old 1995 Ford T-Bird and didn't have to replace any wheel bearings until I got around 250K miles, (it had 340K on it when I gave it away to my sister because she needed a car). I was under the impression Infiniti was a premium built car that should last longer, how many miles does the manufacturer recommend changing them out?

Sorry it's a wheel bgr assembly. Front are will give you a vibration and noise even a pulse in the brake petal. For the money I would do back wheel bgr also.

PLEASE READ! If you are doing this job on any truck thats rusty.. MAKE SURE the vent on the top of the axle tube is clear... If you have rusted up hole inside it will build up pressure and keep blowing seals out. Its more common than you think.

Electric tape over my tire pressure light fixed my problem

JMO If you can afford the diesel truck you can afford the proper wrench for the water sensor . Good video though
