I think the size-4 was a misstake or maybe not a misstake, but a gamble. Needed to hit a powerful sponsor card since I'm almost already lost at that point. Unfort I did not. There was no benefit getting the rep at that point since even with flipped animals I would be 1 rep shy of second worker.

Well, I didn't have upgraded build, therefore i should never, ever build kiosks on my build action. Throwing down kiosks when having upgraded build is great, but since I can get away without having upgraded build, I do save a lot in other areas although my income might take a slight hit.

Yep, should have built a 5-size instead of a 4 to get cable car out for 5 money, would have made the game even more one sided. Was just so hellbent on getting a size 5 for the fur seal as well. Crazy how even PP and sam missed it.

For turn zero, could you have gone snap, build 4, uni, build 1, cable car to cover 5 and then play vulture? That was my line looking at opening hand + display. Actually leaves you an extra rock open at the top too.

Or I guess build 5 to compress actions. Build 1 for a kiosk isn't awful since it would pay you back right away but I know you care a lot about action order too. Given your scavenge, possibly get to hold the fur seal too.

Build 5-size at the top of the tower instead of the 4, then build cable car touching the two top rocks and the 5-money space. Gets you enough money to play first turn vulture

It's a very interesting thought actually, but I do think it's correct to release in that case, although it's probably close and at least something i should have considered at the time. The size-3 is nice, but not crucial by any means, it's more of the tempo which i value highly.

It's just a personal opinion, but I feel it increases variance a lot since it speeds up the game and if you're behind, it's hard to setup something to make you catch up

Not unlikely I want 5 americas, releasing both gives me minus 1-3 income, loses me an american tag and i have no immediete benefit or a benefit i can see next round from getting 2 more cp and a rep at that point. Please provide timestamps for future though :)

There is only ever one arena ladder for games. Gurus for the game (% of players that have played the most games) get to vote on the options.

My guess would be it's gonna go into alpha mode in 2 weeks (similiar to preludes in tfm), so doubt marine worlds for next expansion. If it's alpha and no elo will be gained, I'd guess people will just play arena (people like seeing their number go brrr and you can also leave whenever you want in alpha).

a bit hard to stream with tfm being in alpha, can take quite a while to find a decent opponent and I can't guarantee my opponents won't take 40-60 minutes. Don't think that's very entertaining to watch and I'd rather do something else in those types of games

@@ericgoto5166 It's very nice down the road since i'm already planning on building an avery for the eagle. I think the badger over the fox would be a better selection since clever doesn't do that much early and you'd rather build size 2's than size 1's early on

Whenever you need to get universities/partner zoo's, but you also need a stronger reward, as snapping or money/2-size to fix bad income. Also, if you don't really benefit from an upgrade in the round, it's very solid to do

In the 2nd game he has angthong which is the asian release and hornbill. And he keeps the release 2 african and euro reptile. Im so confused

@@andreasaaberg9507 release hornbill is very bad, I'll net 3 points (+9-6) and put one of the scariest releases up for my opponent. Rather keep an efficient hand than going for that. Although, kinda looks like it's a viable line that game since I have another cheap animal for my enclosure, it does involve some risk, but just not something i prefer to do

​@@andreasaaberg9507 For sure, it's basically what ark nova is all about, you're presented with a bunch of paths and have to use your judgement to take the best one. Sometimes my plays vary greatly from day to day just how my judgement is that day. Factors in for sure, but not a huge deal.
