Archaeologist on map 11 should be fun! Map 14 income reward allows you to play a person sponsor card for free, it doesn't allow you to search for it. If it has the magnifying glass it searches. Also you get the wsobg tournament map on the other side of the new 4 maps
Ohh good catch, you're right! Arch also seems pretty strong on map14. Yeh, arch is very cute on map14, but I wouldn't call it busted, pretty strong, but high variance.
Unfort it seems like there is a limited of max 3 cards on map 11, similiar to rescue station. I think they played it a bit too safe here and removed a funny cmbo =/
Map 14 seems the strongest out of all of the maps. Archaeologist and NFA look completely busted on it. You have something like a ~20% chance to start with either Explorer, Taco, Archae, or a matching base con expert. Shark Attack at its worst is gonna be like 3 appeal and you get to do it twice. There are some cool ideas that look really fun to play. I'm scared the novelty will run out very quickly if they ever make it into BGA/arena.
I think we both can agree on map 14 being a nightmare if both players have the same map. I would still not call it the strongest, probably third strongest of the new maps imo. Shark attack seems too gimmicky and unreliable, haven't done the math on it, but i think i would be happy to get 3 appeal from it, which i'm not sure how often it's gonna happen I'm more worried about the 80% of games where you don't draw a good sponsor😅. But just like map13 you get to start with something for free, which is nice.
@@JDSecretPolice IMO it's like 20% chance to start with a S+ tier sponsor, 60% chance to draw a "good" sponsor, and 20% chance to draw a rubbish sponsor. Remembering in MW there are also things like Landscape Gardener you can draw 😅

Yeh, AI looks nuts, but after looking at drawing board, I'm not convinced AI is the nuttiest anymore, hehe. I haven't seen them posted anywhere online, I'd suggest joining the UEFA-arknova discord and PP posted them there (if you click the youtube-link in the description, they have the discord linked from that channel).
woo I don't know about map 12(AI),I mean you would rather do more strength 5 action then strengh 3. Maybe sponser or association is good but that drains you X tokens really fast, and you might not have that many sponsers and workers to work with. And for other actions, I don't think there are many situations that you want to do a action twice in a row(since you have to do it once to make it strength 1)
I think in general sponsors and asso is just 2 stronger actions than the rest. But it's also very relevant you get strength 6 power on only slot 4 when covering it up completely. There is def a lot of scenarios you do wanna do animals at 3 twice in a row. Cards at 3 if you are really desperate for any playable animals and just can't find it. Build, probably not, but maybe it was already on 5, you build a 5-size+pav, then you use 2 x tokens to build another 5 size
@@tinstargames Mark a card. Basically, you get 2 money if someone draws the marked card up (including you). if the marked card gets discarded from the display, you get it to your hand instead

Do you mean on map 12? If so, draw an endgame card, discard an endgame card
