You would need flat washers in the bushing seat to else it would rub and turn pretty poorly
🙋 'promo sm'
what layer hight and nozzle diameter are you using ? 😍🤩and what was the print time ?
Is it possible to ask you to print the VFA test at different print speeds? for example from 20 to 280? I would like to understand and see possible artifacts when printing at different speeds
It sounds kinda like an old plotter from the late 80's to mid 90's; and I freakin' love it.
These ball screws seems really heavy. It's not CNC, printhead and X axis has to be possibly lightweight to move fast with high acceleration. It's shaking the whole machine with these not very fast movements already. Looks cool but it's actually terrible idea :)
Are you sharing the stl?
Unimpressed
Im just getting into 3d printing. Got my Bambu P1S last week. It would be cool to know what I am looking for. Seems like a lot of other commenters realize how cool this thing is, but to me, with little printing experience, it just looks like another printer. I would love to be able to appreciate it like others leaving comments do, but I dont know what I am looking at as far as what is innovative about this design. Admittedly I can be a little desnse when it comes to some things :(
holy fuck must be nice to have money
Hi, which brand 3d printer you have used? On what ambient temperature you print PA-CF? Thanks for sharing.
We are a printer manufacturer! Everything we make is printed on the Pantheon HS3 printer. The chamber temperature is set to 45C.
Loving this series.
Great to hear that!!
What material did you use?
PA-CF!
Such a nice machine. ^,.'.,^
I've been slowly transitioning my own machine to all ballscrew. This is IMHO the perfect design for 3d printing as far as my needs go. It might not go as fast as belt printers, but the accuracy can be dialed in perfectly. I use 3d printing to make molds. I don't need 100's of them fast, I need one of them and it needs to be dimensionally accurate.
Song ?
Hi, which glue was used to join the snorkel parts ?
3M DP810ns, it's ideal for the CF Nylon
@@PantheonDesign thank you. I can’t believe how flat your bet is to get those joints lined up so perfectly!
So they had nothing to share other than 3 of the bullet points on your website?
Thats Nice! Perfect reason to buy a 3D Printer. Thank You! 😀
WoW! yep, ill get one, watched 3d print nerd video, quality machine, last forever. 😀😀
email us if you want a sample print.
thanks!@@PantheonDesign
Lead screw 🙄🙄
Ball screw
so "had to share" in this context is "was contractually obligated to"
"Build like a CNC" and "tons of screen real estate and at the center a 3d Printer" What?
Excellent. Now make a version with bellows so you can heat the chamber as high as you want.
Nice!
Heads up i did this for my bike rack and the parts degraded after a a few months. the parts I had where larger and i used them in summer so uv damage actually came into play. But just keep an eye on them.
Did you print it out of CF nylon?
I used ABS. I'm not sure what this vid was using. @@Victor_2019
This video is using pantheon's own cf-nylon I belive so UV degration isn't a problem. Petg, asa are cheaper and dont degrade much but they are weaker.
Where can this be purchased?
shop.pantheondesign.com
What material is that?
CF Nylon
Nice design! Housing STL please... :D
My only concern with using lead screws with a heavy print head is power usage. How does this compare to the lighter fast printers such as the voron or the 100?
This thing is built like a tank. And I want it so much!
How the f did I end up here?!
Oh snap! That looks gorgeous!!!!
Oh snap! That looks gorgeous!!!
even professionals stick their pliers in a flame
О тоже древовидными поддержками печатаешь?
PAHT-CF?
New sub! Great work!
You guys use input shaping?
No not yet
Abrupt ending, too short)
Beautiful 😍
Really fascinating design! I wonder if 2 smaller steppers on each end of the X axis gantry might make it overall more balanced in weight-shifting instead of one heavy stepper with the leadscrew in mid air.
They use servo motors…
@@tfb12345 Servos are closed loop feedback steppers so it doesn't change anything about what I said.
The last clip 😂😂😂😂
That printer Is nice, which material did you used?
Thank you, we made it:) The material is Carbon Fiber Nylon 12
Nice! now I know where to go with a stolen bike.
Pa6 with how much carbon fill? 15 or 20?
PA12 with w 15
@@PantheonDesign which is stiffer pa6 or pa12 ?
@@hg1496 PA 12
Music?
Woah did it survive?
Yes it did!
@@PantheonDesign great work then fr
What lead screw you use for X axis...!?
It’s a 15mm ball screw
Love it
Very nice
