@@NitroStarGT I have not, it is an impressive feature especially for n scale. I had seen things online that it can potentially damage the model so I play it safe. Kato has a reputation for being strong runners, I can see it in my limited experience with them so far with the modern diesels, so I'm sure the big boy is no exception! By the way, I found you because of the DCC roundhouse video, that was extremely helpful, thanks for making that!!

Check out my update #15. I have the SCARM file uploaded for all to see. You can use the free version to view the layout and pieces used. I have made some changes to that exact plan but I have mentioned most of them in later videos. I wished it was easier to share a new version of the SCARM file

I would unhook the booster and go back the way you had it. Then change one thing at a tine until the problem reoccur again. Then you will figure out what is causing the issue.

Watch the video and rewind a little bit at the time, and I think I explain how to hook it up the way it works for me. It's really running leads to all the tracks the same as the other track with the only exception being straight across the incoming track and the track directly on the opposite side of the turntable. You reverse the leads. But if you have tracks exiting to other parts of the track, then this would require a reverser, I would imagine.

I use my trusty Samsung Galaxy S20+ and free Capcom editor. It surprises me how many locos I can run. I guess I could run 4 more if I MU'd them to the two single loco trains that I had on there 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for checking it out bud!

I just received 3 packs of Rix Picks. They are awesome. Way better than bamboo skewers. Kato couplers are not fun for switching freight but are fine for passenger trains. I showed the uncoupling on this vid to show people how it's done mostly. ✔️
