Revelation 17:5 (KJV) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. A town full of harlots is a town full of thieves. And after murdering the men in the family, all the kings had their way with the women in Jesus family so they could steal the throne and bloodline. Thank Henry 8th.. Heron. also, look up the family tree for Jesus and then look up the family tree for the Rothschilds, see how many names are the same 🌹🕊️❤️

I love your message to us today Father Bill! (Pun intended!) I didn't know about the history and root of these different types of love. That we are in this world, but not of this world is the message that really resonated with me in your homily. Thank you! Today, at mass, my parish Priest spoke about the unconditional love of God, and obedience to His commandments. I've been reflecting on this ever since, because it confused me. It seems to me that God's love must be both unconditional, and conditional at the very same time, simultaneously. That God must be the only one who can love us unconditionally, but still hold us to obey his commandments, which are the conditions of being His friend, and receiving His love, His mercy, and His forgiveness. Am I right to think this?

Wonderful homily, Father Bill. You are absolutely correct! I will pray that more men enter the priesthood and diaconate, but not me! Just kidding! At 51, I am considering it just because of the shortage and because some things I see in the Church fall short of my expectations. I'm not happy with things I see in the world. If not me, then who? It's less painful pulling teeth than it is to get anyone in my parish to help with that, which needs to be done. When I entered the Church 7 years ago, we had a severe shortage of volunteers to teach religious education to high schoolers so they could receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, which most adults already enjoy. I started teaching as soon as I entered the Church and it has been rewarding. Between RCIA and teaching the class; I have learned so much and I am so thankful the Lord saw fit to put me in that situation. I still teach religious education to high schoolers because we still have a severe shortage of volunteers. But it's not just in religious education. It's a shortage of volunteers across the board! It's the same in our Knights council. We have over 200 members on the roster (we have to pay Supreme for every member), yet we have the same 15-20 men, who show up at meetings every month. It's these same 15-20 men, who volunteer to work every event because no one else will. It's very frustrating knowing there are all these men, who call themselves Knights, but don't act like it. There were actually talks of dissolving the council last year. We have the 11th oldest council in Texas. I don't know how to address the problem. Our priest has mentioned the shortages in all areas multiple times, but it is like you said. Everyone seems to say, "But not me". I think I am going to send a message similar to what I am posting here to my priest and have him post it on the parish's Facebook page, if he doesn't think it's too harsh. If a priest asking multiple times for volunteers doesn't work, maybe something a little more stern that hits them in their conscious will work???? Anyone have any ideas? They are more than welcome!

Hello Father, Regarding the "State of Sin", example after knowing that One has commited a Grave sin or elevating it to mortal sin category if all 3 conditions were Met, how Do we know if we are still in a "State of Mortal sin"? If the person is still planning to go to sacrament of Confesssion in the near future, but at the moment if he repented and do an Act of Perfect Contrition and trying his best to avoid even venial Sins, even if he didn't go to the sacrament of confession yet(but still has intentions to go soon) is that person still on a State of Mortal sin? Or is he back now in a state of Grace?

    • @fr.williamnicholas955

All sins must be confessed. A perfect "act of contrition" does not supersede the requirement to go to Confession.

@@fr.williamnicholas955 I know father but my question is how do we know if we are still the "STATE" of sin and "STATE" of Grace? Is the person not anymore in the state of Sin if he's having Repentance? Cause i know the person is still on that state if he has Unrepented Mortal sin he still keeps on doing it without intentions to stop the person is still on that State right?

I’m a nondenominational Christian that is seeking the truth of how to uphold everything Christ left for us to follow. With that being said, I find it very difficult to understand how the Catholic Church operates when it comes to the confession of sins and all of the other teachings. If someone could please provide me with their understanding of how you can go to a priest and ask for the forgiveness of sins when we have a means of being able to speak to the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit. What’s more confounding is even after being forgiven of your sins you are not guaranteed your salvation because you must undergo a spiritual purging in what is known as purgatory. Finally, to take it one step further, while your spirit dwells in purgatory you must rely on people on earth to pray for your spirit to enter heaven along with indulgences (paying your way into heaven).

Besides arguing over little details the point is that Jesus looks different now than when he was in his earthly ministry. His own disciples didn't recognize him after his resurrection. And one of the things that prove all these NDEs and visions wrong is that they have him in his earthly carnation to which he doesn't look like now, and even that is debatable as most have him as a white man.
