  • What is the disposition we have regarding living and worshipping as Christians? Fr. Bill preaches on Christ's Parable of the Two Sons and the Jewish Passover Parable of the Four Children and speaks of how Christians in general and Catholics in Particular can examine and adjust the dispositions from which we all approach our calling to live and worship as followers of Christ.

I was thinking about attending the Sat Vigil Mass, then going to Christmas morning Mass just before you suggested it. I'm glad it's Fr. Bill approved!😊

Great homily, Father Bill. I love to see a priest actually being the Father of his parish. And as the Father, not allowing excuses he knows parishioners, will no doubt, use to avoid going to mass. Personally, I really enjoy Midnight Mass. It's one of the longest masses of the year, but it's great!

You turned that around pretty well, tying it back into the two sons. Some ideas maybe for future discussions; I am not a Catholic, but a Christian.
Christ means, The Annointed One. I teach and serve others by leading how each person must bear their cross if they want to say they follow Jesus; this means we all are annointed ones. People must take a stand, that our cross was made to bear, and which the Lord Jesus is depending on us to hold true. He died in the same way, and we may too. But, one day with Jesus is far better than a lifetime of being with people who do not believe, and though ritual can get children to learn good habits, it can also dissociate them so much from the responsibility of protecting the soul by taking care of the temple (1 Corinthians 6:12-20) that all become equally disregarded. The state of our nation currently couldn't be more glaring to this fact when young children do not let their bodies naturally mature, which is the true perfection Jesus seeks. He does not wish for us to be striving for freedom from error but rather to learn from them and then be able to give mercy to others who are younger in faith. Of course, when a person is still freshly healing from their wounds a lot of grace is needed in these moments, but again, a sign of faith and maturity.
The Catholic Church was a part of my family when I was born, I had an uncle who has since been annulled according to paper but, as was confirmed recently by the Catholic Church I work with here in Colorado Springs, it doesn't mean anything. He is still my uncle, I don't refer to him as anything else. There is much work to be done for how far the church has fallen but appears no different than what Apostle Paul battled with, our people are just more dulled. Sword against sword, and you should know, I truly love my Jewish brothers and sisters as I love you.

A Catholic priest preaching from the Talmud? That is not right.
