Default Shift+Mousewheel-Up/Down is really good because it changes your Main Actionbar: So, it's good, because you can setup a Secondary Actionbar and have the 1st one as "in-combat" bar & the 2nd one as "out-of-combat" bar. And your out-of-combat actionbar would be for things like Mount, Food, Fishing, etc: Basically, stuff that you cannot even use while in combat.

2025, I am a life long PC gamer and have thought like this with every single game I play in terms of controls. Its funny back when I played wow I did all these tricks .. even with the mouse wheel for openers and everything stated here for the most part. I am glad the younger gen kids get to see this kind of break down in video format and take there gaming on to the next level using good control schemes for gaming. I am reinstalling tonight and found this video on sidebar . Amazing info here guys.

I'm surprised you didn't talk about using esdf instead of wasd... Just because wasd is the default in most games doesn't mean you have to stick with it. With esdf you can reach z, a, q, 1, ~, with your pinky. Also, it's easier to reach the rest of the keyboard with your thumb for abilities you don't use that often.

Okay I'm still confused on why you would want to do a /startattack for say Heroic Strike or Cleave because doesn't it continue attacking anyway? What would warrant having a /startattack on these macros? Not that I doubt that it's good to have - I just don't get why

Can someone please explain to me, why on the dps section /cast [form:3] Battle Stance . . /cast [form:2] Berserker Stance and on the Tank side form 3 Def Stance, form 2 Battle Stance? I am lvl 25 and do not got the Berserker Stance yet. Can I still use those? I dont just want to copypaste, I also want to understand. edit: It does mean I can press for example Tank Rend Macro to use Rend if I am in Berserker Stance. Tried it out. edit2: I didnt see below stance==form the explanation 😅

Okay so I'm not great with macros and am just looking for clarification on the Shield Bash macro for example...is it supposed to let you swap to your shield and hit shield bash in one click? Or does it need to be pressed twice for shield bash to go off?

For anyone looking for why the /click macro for changing weapons is not working it's because /click can't be used to click a macro anymore. What i did instead is put my 2hand, 1hand and shield on my bars and make my macro /click the buttons where the weapons i want to use are. This is nice also because i don't have to write the name of any new gear pieces in the macro text, all i have to do is change what weapon is in the bar button.

I just add HS to my charge and to my intercept macros

i'm trying to make the /click macro work but it won't activate macros on the clicked button. if i place food on the button, or any item, or a regular skill, it will be activated no problem. But macros are a hard no for some reasons... [edit] ok, it just do not work anymore thanks to Blizzard making a change.

maybe a bit late after five years, but i'll still try, you seem to have the competence :) I use the standard "start attack" Button out of the spell book to start and stop autoattacks. What i like about it is that it's a toggle. Would it be possible to make a toggle Macro, that - like in your video here - starts autoattack on the next possible enemy if i have no attackable enemy selected and if i already have an enemy selected stops the autoattack like i'm used to?

2:15 isn't the reason given to not use charge and intercept on the same macro purely a pvp one? i don't see many opportunity in pve to need to separate them if i can use them on the same macro

i think i just wasted like 1 hour writing all these macro's down in 1 setting.. the very first one i tried was the [nostealth] stealth macro and my stealth still takes me out of stealth when i use it

What would you use if you were just raiding as a DPS warrior in classic?

the TC macro cast TC and using rage without actaully casting it lol

So, you know how tab switches targets even though they arent the closest, is there a way to switch targets but also start attack so after a mob dies and im switching between targets im not just standing there

I use bartender and instead of multibutton i use BT4Button33 and i just put my wep in the slot...so instead of updating a macro i drag the wep to the action bar and never touch the macros

Doesn’t having a stance swap on all abilities lose you a lot of rage as you switch stances more than necessary?

This question might sound dumb but do you have a macro that equips your two handed weapon back AFTER CASTING something like the Shield Bash macro?

for the hamstring problem, is it able to be used like this, if in defensive stance, switch to berz stance, but if in battle or berz stance you can use hamstring #showtooltip Hamstring /startattack /cast [form:2] Berserker Stance /cast [form:1,3] Hamstring
