Just downloaded gladius! Very happy with it! Only issue i had was that the arena portraits for enemy players still loaded the default ui as well as gladius so I got 6 health bars for the enemy 3 team, addon is great minus this issue that I assume is a setting somewhere
Any advice how to defend against the fire mage buffs as melee dps? I'm a demon hunter so it's difficult to get away when you've only got Blur and Darkness.
you're gonna be susceptible to burst, which is pretty much mage comps. Your best bet is to make sure you have the talent Reverse Magic ready for your healer when he gets sheeped and the mage is about to burst. I think you can Reverse Magic ring of frost as well, but don't quote me on that. Reverse Magic is your best friend against mage.
Okay, I think I can help you. I had to dig into the files. It's not a simple fix, you'll need to download Notepad++ and edit some files. Up for the challenge?
Alright. The problem is that Gladius gives easy access to dr categories, but not the spells in those categories. So we need to manually update the spells within the stun category. Hard to find, but not too hard to carry out so I'll break it down. It should actually be pretty easy. Make sure WoW is closed. -Download Notepad++ -Go to your WoW Folder Retail -> Interface -> Addons -> Gladius -> Libs -> DRData-1.0 -> DRData-1.0.lua -Select "DRData-1.0.lua" and Right Click it and click "Edit with Notepad++" -Find the section the starts with the title "--[[ STUNS ]]--" (You can click ctrl+F and just search for the word "stun") -Find the section for shaman -Right underneath Earthfury, copy and paste this line: [204437] = true, -- Lightning Lasso -Save the File (ctrl+S) That shouuuld fix the problem. I can't test it myself to see if this works for sure sorry, don't have an active sub. If this doesn't work potential problems could be: -I could have gotten the wrong spellid "204437". Sometimes the spellid for the spell is different from the actual stun spellid debuff that they get (this is the case for rake). I can't find another spellid so it should work though. -There might be another file we need to update. I doubt it though. Let me know if this works for you. Goodluck!

The only thing that was different is where i listed it. i listed it below "Earthgrab Totem", not "Earthfury" as you told me. But maybe that's what you meant. @@maltesre9032 Ah Earthgrab is in the Root section, so I think that would put it as root dr instead of in stuns. but that would prob still show up, sorry couldn't help you more.

Try this: type /gladius go to "Tags" click "HealthBar Left Text" uncheck "Unit Name/Status" haven't tested this myself, and not sure if it has unintended consequences due to this "status" it references? If you want you could instead change the Text part to have: [status] instead of [name:status] hope that helps! good luck!
I would try to edit the lua file and set x and y to 0 for that character. Or I'd just delete the gladius.lua file altogether after i uninstalled addon before reinstalling if I didn't care about my settings.

I can see you have Arena target 1 first, but i have Arena target 5. how can i change that up that i have Arena target1 first.?
I'm a bit stumped on your question actually. I've never seen it reversed like this. It may be a setting you changed in the General Tab?
Look for something like inverse or grow up
/gladius and its in the general tab, next to the lock frame option "Direction" select down and it should go from 1 - 5 down

Try this:
type /gladius
go to "Tags"
