Apartment Tour: My Tiny, Modern Student Apartment in Copenhagen | $1,150/month
Welcome to my tiny student apartment/dorm in Copenhagen! Take a tour with me through the space, learn about the cost of living in Copenhagen, and maybe even gain some inspiration for your own place. I lived in a room in a shared apartment for my first 9 months in Denmark, but now have been living in this new apartment on my own since April of 2023. Special thanks to my parents for supporting me in my life/studies abroad ❤️.

Getting Started: Tips for Picking a Study Abroad Program
My husband ia Danish. We watched your vid together and he says that it is one very expensive apartment!
I was going to say the same thing. She's getting ripped off.
Yeah he's definitely right! I've been looking at other options for the past year but it is surprisingly difficult to find a studio apartment with a full kitchen (meaning it includes a sink, stove, and oven. The oven in particular is so hard to find!) :(
This was an excellent resource for learning!
You are beautiful ❤
A lot of bathrooms in Copenhagen have the shower in the middle of the (very small) room because the apartment is old. And back in the old days there was no shower in the apartment. You either had to wash your hair in the sink, or use the communal showers (if there was any) in the basement. Ps. All ovens come with child proofing in Denmark. It's the law. It's safety. It's very demure.
In the place I was living before they didn't have the child lock so I didn't realize it was standard. Good to know for the future! 😊
Ohh noo, did all of the other professor had the same character? I'm doing an exchange in the palacky university next week. Should i be very careful with the words and act that i do?
Sorry for the late reply! I hope you're having a good exchange and have had positive experiences with your professors. I don't want to generalize since I only met 2 other Czech professors. One was really sweet and the other was also nice but quite blunt with his feedback. I think like any educational institution it can be a bit hit or miss with the teachers, but I hope again that your exchange is going well!
Good video! Thanks!
I agree, you have done a good job and made your little home cosy. I am an interior designer living here in Copenhagen, so let me know if you want any more tips 🙂
I feel so happy to see people from around the world exploring our beautiful yet underrated country Nepal ❤🫶🏻
This screams Sydhavn. Only modern expensive sh!t there. I would look for studios in the suburbs (Gladsaxe, Herlev, Glostrup ect...) Tobaks kollegiet comes to mind. That would probably cut your rent by 2000+ DKK, but on the flipside commute would go up by about 20 minutes
Very good point! Yeah I'm struggling to find a balance between staying relatively close to school and keeping the cost down 🥲
Look for larger knobs that you like, and replace if you decide to move.😊
You’ve done a great job with such a small space. Looks nice! 😊
Thank you! ☺️
Hi Gracie, love from Nepal ❤ Please visit Pokhara next maybe.... you'll love it there, its much clamer than the capital. Also, Momo is love ❤
OMG FINALLY THE APARTMENT VIDEO 🤩 definitely coming over for dinner (as you promised) some time soon ;)) SO NICE LOVE!!! <3
Yes please!! Can’t wait to have you :) Thank you and I miss you! ☺️❤️
Except the washbasin its perfect..I would hate if even a drop of water falls onto bed.. you have decorated it beautifully...
Thank you so much 🥰
Your Content is really amazing but channel growth is very poor. I already found out many problems on your TH-cam channel.
I'm from Morocco plz how I can to volunteer in Iceland?

@@mohamedikmi8985 Of course!! Thank you and I hope you get to visit Iceland ☺
Amazing landscape scenery my friend! 🔥🔥
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your video. Did you go in monsoon season? I am planning to go in August. Does it rain a lot? thanks for any information all the best
Thank you for watching! 😊 Yes, I went during monsoon season in the first half of July. It rained a decent amount but it wasn't too bad in my opinion since in Kathmandu it wasn't very windy. Just make sure to bring or buy an umbrella to carry around with you and wear shoes you don't mind getting a little wet. People even thought we were kind of silly in the beginning when we were walking around in the rain without umbrellas 😆. If you're planning on hiking though it might affect you more since my guess is that it's more windy in the mountains. However, I had friends that went at the same time I did who went hiking and they had a fantastic time! I've heard there can be more mudslides during this season though so if you are trekking, definitely go with an experienced guide. I hope you have an amazing trip! 😄
@@GracesVoyage infinite thanks
