Not the game to be risking Purdy in the snow where you need a really good running game. Allen could hand the ball off just as well as Purdy but I’m not sure if we have a running game at the moment. Purdy needs to learn how to slide on runs and protect himself and not dive. Coaches should be telling him this. Hopefully the weather will affect both sides but we’ve been good in cold weather before. 😀
How they gonna do that without Williams and Banks along with the lowest rated center in the NFL in Brendel playing? CMC is 155th in the NFL in yards per carry at 3.6. They like to run left. It is their tradition but I agree. They have a talented team that would benefit from being under a dome and the fans deserve it too. But I think the view is that if they did it they would feel they had all gone soft.
You heard it here first. This week is going to decide Purdys next contract. They have been saying for weeks nothing is wrong with him and he has said otherwise. If he doesn't play this week I think it will be held against him. I'm not saying he is or isn't hurt, bur this week can and will be used against him if he doesn't play and play well!

if someone wants to pay Aaron Banks go for it and live with the regret. He went from passable to pretty much awful. He is worse than McKivitiz this year. Only the truly wretched Brendel is worse.
Long ago ,60’s -70’s I heard once that there was a big punch bowl filled with pain killers in the Oakland raiders locker room and the injured players that they felt was needed to play to win , took what they needed and went out to play . I think that’s an old part of raider lore . Don’t know if it was the truth

Banks was good in 2022 and has regressed the last 2 years. He's been awful this year. They shouldn't overpay him.

Seems silly for Brock to play. Shoulder injuries are brutal. Better to rest him than causing more wear and tear on an injured shoulder.
