That's up to your eyes, friend. T2 is a clean starburst to my eyes and so is the M5 but the T2 is capable of getting 1 step brighter. Some Holosuns don't work as well for me and they don't get nearly as bright as the T2 or M5. That being said, I'd favor the T2 over the M5 in general.

@@bunnyoperator that helps, thank you. All eyes are different for sure but I was curious if there was a generally clearer dot for comp 5s vs T2 and it seems they’re similar. I’ve got the T2 and will stick with it

@@watchin-stoof988 Same same for glass and astigmatism for me although the M5 has a little more tunnel effect to me.

@@wiggly8484 Yes, folks have sent me offset milling samples. You can find examples posted online as well. Some people seem to have had luck with them though, so the choice is yours to make. I'd suggest to look around a bit and message other reputable shops like Jagerwerks, Monsoon Tactical, Primary Machine, etc. to see if they have that option. You should also be able to find optic ready slides available albeit not as cost effective.

@@alexancheta9562 Thanks for the details. Did your smith indicate what needed to be done or tweaked, if at all? The Shadow products are reverse engineered off the Glock Gen 3 TDP, so the specs can vary in addition to the more performance oriented components used for the guts. The data is always useful to help determine the issues folks are experiencing.

It's a Glock trigger. Not exactly difficult to install. You think that multiple people, multiple samples of Glocks in varying generations experiencing the same issues are user error? There is a large mix of OEM and/or aftermarket supporting parts used as well. The issue is Timney's execution of the product and the varying tolerances creating timing issues. This is well documented across the community. Timney's CS handling is varied as well not to mention their discreet updates of components and design to try and get ahead of the situation while leaving legacy users with issues screwed. I know for a fact that TTI and JG (in his Omega) has to considerably tune each Alpha installed, so it is hard to believe that your samples are simply drop and play as is let alone running OEM components like in my samples. What you can do to further the conversion is advise your configurations to help with data collection.

What setups did you run them with? Like barrel length/buffer config.

@@bunnyoperator we do. We actually have a very active firearms community to be quite honest. Can’t have a lot of stuff but what we can have we love!

@@brainiestben You could probably clone this for rimfire although idk your specific laws on component acquisitions.

@@bunnyoperator clone stuff for the replica market is very easily accessible, along with actual real steel too. I don’t believe there are any restrictions but I’m unsure on that 100%.

Glad that you found what works for you. I am personally on team steel and don't believe that Ti is necessary or that aluminum is sufficient but if it works then it works for you. You can also look at The CNC Pros / Athena Precision for steel alternatives that support Holosun since FCD does not.

@@dtfrankel79 I only see two adapter plates on their site and the example photos show bad fitment and lack of support for the optics intended. The AOS system is fine and robust but very expensive if you're getting into that platform.

As long as you have a CA ID or DL with the hunting license then you can. Just inform the FFL of your situation. You'll still need to acquire an FSC if you're intending to obtain a pistol though along with all other required docs noted in the video. @@eugenejensen2279 That's correct. Frankly you could do the same by swapping buffers on the fly.

@@eugenejensen2279 Law's complete kit. The law system adds approx 1oz of weight to the BCG so puts it at about H1 weight. Since this video I've removed the folder and have run carbine 3oz, H1, A5H0, A5H1, A5H2 in their respective buffer tubes unsuppressed. So far A5H1 has the most linear impulse and stable dot behavior. I will now swap back to carbine 3oz and sample the CMMG weight add-ons to the BCG. I do have A5 footage in the shorts section if you go seek it there.

I have their law tactical BCG buffer extension but I haven’t tried it yet. I have their weight tuning kit installed right now but will be removing it to try their BCG extension and try it out.

You can try SAPI small but it depends on if you prefer shooter cut style. See if the 10x12 fits you or how much excess you have to deal with. If you can run it then there are more options in the 10x12 size. Your carrier should be based on your plate size, so check the product description to ensure it'll fit your plate. I have Velocity Systems Scarab and Defense Mechanisms MEPC videos if you want those as reference.

I've looked through the 3X and 5X since this video and I would agree on the eye relief. Nature of short prism optics I guess. Weapon Outfitters has a cantilever ACOG mount but I don't think they support the mini pattern (yet?). I'll wait around for solutions. Currently there's a Steiner P4Xi on this. Still experimenting. 😂

Yup, A1 and A2 mounts the same. Your individual receiver carry handle channel might vary though. It's not a very repeatable method for optic mounting. 😂

The warden? Probably not necessary unless you shoot in these prone positions often.
