School Year of 2001-2002 was about to come to an end

20 years ago today...

The promos leading up to this particular dare are where I first head the term "expired". I don't know if that's a word that I needed to know early on in life (since I heard someone say they knew what it meant when they were six) but I didn't hear this word until I was seven going on eight (I had a birthday later that month). When I asked my mom what it meant, she sounded taken aback and tried to assume I meant to say the word "inspired", so she told me what "inspired" meant in a very cheery manner. Maybe she thought I heard something super morbid (since "expire" can also mean death) and didn't want me to further indulge on it. At the same time, she probably would have thought a children's network making one of their child actors do something as disturbing as being be hung upside down and dunked into expired dog food would also be a rather morbid thing for me to hear about and see for that matter. I know the dog food cans shown here are fake (they can't show the company that made them for obvious reasons), but is it possible the dog food itself is not? Most of the dares they made these kids do sound like Child Labor violations. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the kids ended up hurt or sick from these dares. We know one of them said the "dogs licking peanut butter off your body" dare was a particularly horrible experience.

Here because I'm in a major funk. I miss my childhood days, my childhood home (moved in May 2004), when Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network were good, before PC and woke people ruined things and when i had a better mindset/outlook on the world (even though i still experienced hardships during childhood). 90's to early 2000's forever.

After the fireman eats 1 Cheetos flamin hot snack stick there is some fire flames in his eye his face turns red and he gets a drink of water out of the fire hydrant and there is some water coming out of his ears and water out of his nose

The room is filled with a lot of chocolate chips and it is raining chocolate chips in that room and the kid is in a chocolate lake and the monkey is kicking some fruit and the monkey grabs a coconut out of that huge red apple

I'm kind of glad the show didn't make Chelsea do this dare. None of them should have been put in this situation, but I know someone would have been enjoying that version.
