This is a full tutorial on how to replace the windowseals/weatherstripping on a 350z, 2003-2008. I'm posting this with the knowledge that there is no other video on TH-cam that has done this process, I hope it will benefit any of yall with the same problem!
My symptoms: Basically I had 1-2 inch deep water under both seats, the footwell carpet drenched aswell. 350z's with their whole frame-less window design are not the most "sealed" cars. They can leak from almost anywhere, I did a LOT of diagnosing before I narrowed it down to the window seals. It seems obvious, but when doing research almost non of the results online mentioned the window seal. There was a lot of results about clogged drains, but all of my drains were wide open, there was leaky windshield seals but there was no water coming in through those common leak places. I ended up just using a ton of towels for a while because I stopped trying to find the leak, but eventually I got some blue masking tape and ran it over the top of both of my doors, on the A-pillar, which acted as a watter gutter. What do you know, there was no water after a rather hard downpour! So I bought and installed these seals, I have yet to see if it worked, im gonna wait till the next rain, I'll write down in the comments
Misconceptions: As there was no other video on TH-cam, what I went off of was an A-pillar removal video. It was very useful for getting an idea on what I was dealing with, but I was not sure if the A-pillar had to be removed or not. Thankfully, after a bit of looking around, I found out that you don't have to removed the A-pillar. That is good because the pops that hold the panel on are very weak due to aging and many heat cycles, therefore they break quite easily.
